interview to frap/magnetic fields.

1. well everyone, this is frap of
magnetic fields and i am the
    european swapper, demofreak of this
group. my age is 18 years old, and
the hardware i use is amiga 500,
    1 meg ram, 5/4 drive, 3 1/2 drive
and not forgetting my monitor and
cool 16 bit megadrive, which i use
when i am copying disks for
    everyone.

2. magnetic fields was formed just less
than 2 years ago, when there was
various groups thought of a change,
i will explain. i joined a group on
the 64 called sub^zero and formed up
the amiga group, but we wasn't so
famous on the amiga scene as on the
    nearly^dead 64 scene. i started
writing off to loadsa guys in order
to get more contacts as remember
that i was a real proper lamer!!!.
luckily i got a few more guys who
wanted to swap with me (don't ask
why), one of my contacts was a
mega^guy called cosy, who belongs to
    a group calledd nitro.ac. afterwards
when we got swapping loadsa times, i
asked him for a joint co^operation
    which was called nitro.ac/sub^zero.
we happily struggled on until the
change came, and thats how magnetic
fields was formed, from the help of
    these groups ^ nitro a.c ^ sub^zero
    ^ the 3 amigos.

3. i joined magnetic fields at the very
start, magnetic fields at first took
a while to get famous but i think
everyone has heard of us, even
though we only release demos every
    so often.

4. the scene in the u.k at the moment
is increasing all the time with
    groups expanding and releasing much
more stuff than ever before. the
most promising group to become big
has got to be anarchy uk, who are
releasing demos just as good as the
european groups now. but it is not
    surprising with kreator and del.
the most recent event in the uk was
the c.e.s show down london which was
    cool, as loadsa european groups
    attended, there was only one
complaint, how come there was no new
16 bit sega games to buy???

5. i think wars are really funny but it
is very sad to see a group die,
especially when they are fuckin cool
    co^operations are really something
when they make a good effort as the
demos and cracks are so much better.
please note: i would like to see a
    co^operation megademo released
through all the best coders as i am
sure it would be really something
special for all demofreaks to keep
in their disk collections. i am
glad we have come on to the copy
    parties point, copyparties are
really great to meet all ya contacts
for the very first time, also it is
very good to get new ones as well.
another note: how about a european
copy party organised by all groups
(worldwide) every year so all groups
from every country travel once a
    year to the same place,bringing
    their latest products, especially
written for that party. just think
of all the disks for you to copy.

6. you asked why i am a demofreak, the
reason i am a demofreak is from the
early days on the 64, when i use to
always go mad when i saw a demo.
remember the max headroom demo by
    the judges(yeah!). from ever since
i am just interested in demos, but i
    do like the odd game.

7. my favourite swapper has got to be
cosy of magnetic fields as how can
any one swap with over a hundred
contacts, sending so much new wares
all the time. (keep on betty boo).
my favourite coder is delta/rsi, my
    favourite gfx artist is scoopex's,
my favourite musician is uncle tom,
    my favourite group is kefrens,
my favourite board i can't really
comment as i am not a modem trader
    yet!!!!.

8. i think the friendship movement is
good, but how about a friendship
    megademo released through various
    groups.

9. magnetic fields plan loadsa cool
demos, loadsa compacts, and the a
cool copy party was held on the 27
    october 90.

10. i am afraid no^one has been caught
by f.a.s.t or software police but
cosy has been caught several times
by the post office and once he
thought he had his phone tampered
    with!!!

11. i am afraid that i am not really
interested in the cdtv (cd rom)
module as no^one will be able to
     pirate the games.

12. my top five demos are as follows:

     1. northstar megademo (2d)
     2. subway n dream team megademo
     3. rsi megademo
     4. kefrens megademo viii (2d)
     5. dragons megademo
