     INTERVIEW WITH FISH OF LSD!
     ---------------------------

Done in February 1992.

El Loco/PRG:
HI FISH! Would you please introduce
yourself to our readers?

Fish/LSD:
Hi everyone out there! My name is
Andy, my handle is FISH. I do GFX for
a UK group called LSD.

El Loco/PRG:
Could you tell us for how long you've
been in LSD?

Fish/LSD:
I've not been in LSD for long, I
joined them last September, so that's
about 6 or 7 month, I'm not good at
counting backwards.

El Loco/PRG:
Could you tell us your computer-story,
and which equipment you are using?

Fish/LSD:
I started my own lame group called
"The Web" a few years ago, then I
joined a group called HACL, HACL
became "The Special Brothers UK" then
a great leap to LSD.

My equipment, I have 2 Amiga 500 K1.3
a 1meg and a 2meg. 2 1084SD monitors,
a STAR LC24-200 colour printer, a
VORTEX 2000 40meg Hardrive and a
couple of external drives. (Spoilt
bastard aren't I!)

 El Loco/PRG:
Is there any competition between the
members in LSD? (E.g which gfx and
music will be used for your prods.)

Fish/LSD:
Competition isn't hard between
members, LSD works on quality, so if
you produce good work then it gets
used, but sometimes it's not easy when
you're competing with Watchmans
standards.

El Loco/PRG:
Please mention your favourite
artists,musicians,coders,magazines and
demos.

Fish/LSD:
There is so much talent out there
that's it's hard to pin-point a
favourite, so here's some of the
talent I prefer:

Coder: Hornet/Alcatraz
          Dan/Anarchy
GFX: Watchman/LSD
          Mithrandir and Airbrush/Acme
          Uno/Scoopex
Music: Nuke/Anarchy
          4-Mat
          Jesper Kyd/?? (Silents)
Demo: Odyssey/Alcatraz
          Hardwired/Crionics & Silents
Diskmag: Grapevine of course
Zine and I.C.E are not bad.
          HO! I can't forget
          Free'n'Easy!

El Loco/PRG:
What is your favourite 'real' music??
(I know Marillion will be mentioned
 for sure!)

Fish/LSD:
What do you mean REAL music?
Marillion is REAL music! But I do
like Allan Parsons, Pink Floyd, Jethro
Tull, Chris de Burgh, and belive it or
not, I like Rossini and Borf
(Classical) (Not bad Fishie! Check
out Johann Pachebels 'Canon in
D-moll'! ed.)

El Loco/PRG:
How many hours a day to you spend in
front of your Amiga?

Fish/LSD:
Too much! Normally about 4 hours in
the afternoon and about 7 hours in the
evening. If I have a airbrushing-
project then sometime I might not
touch the computer from week to
another

El Loco/PRG:
Do you play games? And if,which games?

Fish/LSD:
I don't play many games, a game has to
be good before I waste my time on it.
The only games I've been are Kick off
1&2, Millenium 2.2, Deutros, Stunt Car
Racer, Indy 500, Formula 1, Falcon and
F29.

El Loco/PRG:
Have you visited many parties?

Fish/LSD:
I went to the Digital party last
October and I'm due to go to the
Anarchy party this April. That's
about all the Parties I've been to. I
would like to go to a Party on the
continent but curcumstances forbid me.

El Loco/PRG:
Fish is an excellent air-brushing
artist, and Fish, could you tell us
the major differences between air-
brushing and amiga-gfx??

Fish/LSD:
I have been air-brushing for far
longer than computer GFX so I would
say that airbrushing is far easier.
There are also disadvantages with air-
brushing such as, I've nearly
completed a picture and I make a great
mistake that will not cover up, the
picture, time and money has just gone
to waste. On DeLuxePaint 4, you know
yourself that if you make a mess, you
can re-do it over and over again. I
did use some of the same techniques on
DPaint 4 but I was limited on how much
I could do, what I have found was that
I could use some of the techniques use
on DPaint 4 on my airbrush work. When
I did logos on card I was limited to
one style of font, when I saw Amiga
logos I put those ideas into my
airbrushing.

El Loco/PRG:
You live in Barnsley/England, do there
live more LSD members in your area?

Fish/LSD:
There's no other members of LSD that
lives in Barnsley. Parasite (Pazza)
our manager lives in Gainsborough
which is one hours drive from my
house. I use to travel through to his
house twice a week, but at the moment
while I'm ill I've not been for a
while. I'm in a wheelchair and I
thought it might have posed a problem
but it didn't bother the lads. Other
members live all over UK, we meet up
at parties and contact each other by
mail and phone.

El Loco/PRG:
What is your favourite food and drink?

Fish/LSD:
Pizza, pizza, pizza and pizza,
sometimes I might have a pizza for a
change. I don't drink alcohol but if
there were to drink in a pub it would
be bitter shandy, favourite drink at
home is coffee. (You've right mate!
Pizza is simply the best! ed.El Loco)

El Loco/PRG:
What is your view on drugs?

Fish/LSD:
I don't like any hard drugs but I
suppose a smoke on the old weed isn't
bad.

El Loco/PRG:
Allright Fish, here is some space for
you to write whatever you want:

Fish/LSD:
Thanx to EL LOCO for doing this
interview with me, some greets go out
to all LSD members, The Shadow/Dual
Crew...Toxic/Visual...Shadow/Quartz...
Jewels/Devils...Cedric/Flash Prod...
Leon/Independent...Castor/Vanish...El-

contacts.
 Last words by El Loco/Paragon:

these questions and for being a friend
