DOOM'S DAY 1994 


Yes, it's party time again. After a long period where absolutely no party has been arranged in Germany, especially in the south of Germany, there will finally be held one in the nearby of Karlsruhe.

DOOM's DAY 94 will be arranged by SKID ROW, DUAL CREW SHINING, WORLD OF TWIST and ZIG ZAG CORP. Everyone is hoping that it will be a success in contrast to the last Analog party, which had a total amount of 30 visitors!

PLACE: Ettlingen, Germany, Buergerhalle Ettlingenweiler.

START: 8th October 1994, 15:00 PM

END: 9th October 1994, 12:00 AM

ENTRY: 20 Deutsch Marks, including one free drink. Girls get a free entrance!

Cheap food and drinks are available at the party place. There will be a special room for coding, painting and composing, so don't forget to bring your hardware.

Party Rules: No Tags! No Drugs! No own drinks! Illegal soft and hardware only at your own risk! Trouble makers will be taken care of!


THE COMPETITIONS


AMIGA DEMO COMPO: Running either on an A500 with kickstart 2.04, with 512K Chip and 512K of Fast memory, or an A1200 with kickstart 2.04, with 2MB of Chip and 0 MB of Fast memory. Only Demos or Trackmos! No Intros!

And the winner gets;

2nd place 500DM
3rd place 200DM

GRAPHIC COMPO: The topics are COMIX and SF FANTASY. No scans, no repaints and no other pictures are allowed.

SOUND COMPO: must run on a machine with 512K of Chip Ram.

And the winner gets:

TOOL COMPO: Code a usefull tool like converting tools, editors... No coping tools are allowed to take part!

And the winner gets a SURPRISE!

SHORT GAMES: All kind of short games are allowed except Tetris Clones. The maximum byte length of the executable must be 150K.

SNES COMPO: All kind of multipart Demos!

C64 COMPO: Show us that the machine still lives!

HOW TO GET AT THE PARTY PLACE!


BY CAR: Drive to the south of Germany via A5 untill you reach Karlsruhe. Take the exit Ettlingen, drive straight on to Ettlingen, drive straight on over the river and the railway direction Raststatt. Take the exit Ettlingenweiler after the second bridge. Follow the sign Ettlingenweiler, there you'll see the signs which indicate the direction to the Buergerhalle. Just follow them. The party staff will also put several posters and signs along the streets so everyone will be able to find the way much more easily.

BY TRAIN: Take a ticket to Karlsruhe, there you can take the railroad 'S11' (Direction Ettlingen or Bad Herrenalb) or 'S1' (Direction Langensteinbach or Ittersbach) till you reach the station 'Erbprinz'. A driving service will be picking up all party people every half an hour from 15:00 untill 19:00 PM.
