DOOM'S DAY 1994 


Yes, it's party time again. After a long period where absolutely no party has been arranged in Germany, especially in the south of Germany, there will finally be held one in the nearby of Karlsruhe.

DOOM's DAY 94 will be arranged by SKID ROW, DUAL CREW SHINING, WORLD OF TWIST and ZIG ZAG CORP. Everyone is hoping that it will be a success in contrast to the last Analog party, which had a total amount of 30 visitors!

The Assembly is one of those few scene events that deserve to be called A party, not only because of the fact that it is one of the three bigger party arrangements taking place every year, for 

three consecutive seasons, but also because of the high number of yearly attenders.

Somewhere In Holland 2 


The most expected event for the Dutch scene, the much advertised second instalment in the Somewhere in Holland series of gatherings, has been cancelled.

This long awaited Amiga convention from Spaceballs and Reality, which was originally going to take place on the 9th, 10th and 11th of July, at the Sporthal De Maaspoort sports centre, was forced 

to be called off, because of a sudden back off from the official and main competition sponsors.

The Gathering 94 is considered as one of the most important yearly events, by both the Amiga and the PC scenes. ROM managed to gather, around our quickly assembled round table, Anders and Ompa 

of Darkzone, one of the current leading PC groups, and Necro and Optic of Banana Dezign, a very promising Amiga Norwegian group, just after the demo competitions were held, to inject a new 

breath to the long lasting debate concerning the latest

When I had originally heard that Fairfax, a graphician who is rated among the top ones since several years, released a slideshow in January, I was really looking forward to write a prospective review for ROM.
