Supernao/Lemon.

by BLiSS/GHD

                           BL = Bliss SN = Supernao

 BL: Okay, Supernao, tell important stuff about yourself for all the old
 scene hands and all those scene newcomers out there :)

 SN: It would really be a shock for me to here that there still are
 "newcomers" to the scene - I thought everybody was either old-school or not-
 so-old-school. :)

{
        I got my nickname (Supernao) from a french comic called AquaBlue - in
 which the main character is called Nao. I later added Super to it since I
 became bored with it after a while.

         My "function" is not really definable - in Lemon. Everybody does what
 he feels like, so I usually make music and do some graphics, through
 rendering.

 BL: We've all been hearing about the reformation of Lemon. In RAW and
 ROM; other than the production of more cool demos, what was the influencing
 factor to return?

 SN: The reformation was an idea of all of us, that is, the current
 members. The ball started rolling way back at the party 4, when I met Noah
 (then called Blazer) again, while we were both wearing our officially dodgy
 Lemon. shirts, and we started talking about reforming the whole thing. We are
 now in a sorted seven member format, and we're never going to leave our
 group. (I hope - at least that's how I feel about it. I love every single
 person in my group, and consider them very good friends.)

 BL: Now I'm gonna say a phrase and you state your opinion on it :)
{

 BL:     "Party 95 sucked"

 SN: Hmm - everybody's always going on about how The Party sucked. Every
 single year it's the same story. I kinda agree with arguments that everything
 is too expensive, but the making and breaking of a party isn't up to the
 organisation - it's up to the people. I wasn't there, and I wish I had been. I
 usually go to parties to meet my old school scene friends, not to sit behind
 computers and expecting entertainment from the organisation. I think that's a
 couch potato attitude - and I hope I never become one.

 BL:     "The Amiga is dead"

 SN: It still rules from the grave. I am involved with video and stuff like
 that and let me tell you - nothing beats an Amiga if you have to do budget
 desktop video. I have a complete non-linear edit suite and it's completely
 Amiga based.

 BL:     "Drugs kill creativity"

 SN: No they don't. They enhance it. They do tend to reduce productivity,
 but then again: "Quality rules over quantity!"{

 BL:     "Friendship rules"

 SN: - DOH! - I knew that one when I was 2 years old :)

 BL: Now another similar sort of game, but this time with words :)

 SN: "UK Scene" - Nice people [Are you sure ?? -Michael/Anathema]
         "R.A.W." - Cool attitude [And so is Deadlock -Michael/Anathema]
         "Traders" - Kill 'em all - unless I need something
         "Ascii Artists" - Kill 'em
         "Nazis"         - Kill 'em
         "Melon"         - Love 'em
         "Worms"         - Don't know 'em
         "Elite" - Gauloises Blondes (not Legeres)

 BL: There have been reports that you and Face-T left VD/FLT due to
 problems with profiteering. Did the willingness to make profit aspect of
 VD/FLT influence you in any way to leave?

{

 SN: I left VDoF because I wanted to be in Lemon. THAT'S ALL. I still love
 juha and timo and all the dudes in Virtual Dreams. There's nothing wrong with
 a bit of profit - It enhances creativity. Hell they did it in the best
 possible way - they made work out of their hobby.

 BL:     A boring question now...

         Which is your favourite demo and why?

 SN: Best demo - 3rd dimension by the cryptoburners.

         Now this is a demo like it's supposed to be - in glorious 3D! And it
 works, too! I can sit down, smoke a joint, turn off the light, hook up the
 Amiga to a big TV, and let the pixels flow out of the monitor. :) Lovely.

 BL: And another one... Who, in your opinion are the best of the best in
 the scene?

{

 SN: Best coder - the most creative coder is dweezil - he comes up with the
 craziest stuff although Del is now catching up hard - although you all haven't
 seen much of his recent work. Our experimental stuff is all interactive (sort
 of), and he's very good at it.

 SN: Best musician - dizzy and spaceman. Can't make up my mind who's
 better, they both freak me out.

 SN: Best gfxian - hmm this is a tough one. I'd go for destop, but facet
 will kick my ass, so I'll give them a shared 1st place.

 BL: What do you think of the scene nowadays compared to old days?

 SN: Hmmm - it's still there, but it needs a sparkle like the scene got
 from the AGA machines. If the scene survives I have high hopes for the new
 PowerAmiga era.

{

 BL: That's all. Feel free to send some greets out to groups and people you
 respect at this point :)

 SN: Ehh... hybrid rocks and I didn't mention a lot of people. Sorry. :)
 (je krijgt wel een biertje casper)

 BL: Thanks in advance for answering the questions dude, I really
 appreciate it :D

 SN:     Okido :)

 Question is..Did that Dutch mean something abusive? :)
