On the  weekend the  23.11.90 there was
held  a  party  from  Duplex/Oracle  in
Meschede (in the Sauerland - only a few
meters far from the well known Warstein
where you get your favourite beer).

This  party was  planned as  a 64 party
but nevertheless a few Amiga-Freax have
found there way to it.

On Friday  morning we  (Bobby/NEWS, VIC 
and  Catweazle/SPICE  drove to the cool
organizer  (Gorbi/Duplex)  we  drank  a
little bit Summertime  and talked about
the newest  things happening  on 64 and
Amiga. Then we rest to regain our power
for the (really) hard week-end.

Gorbi has been  lamered with organizing
all  things for  this party -  only the
room  was  surely  existing.  He got no
money,  ´cause nearly  noone of D/O has
sent the  money to him.  The drink-shop
made problems with the beer: "Only with
200  Marks  before -  CASH!"  and  some
other things happening later.

The room  was quite  good, great and so
we hoped the party would get very funny
(that was thaught too quickly!).

The first  Duplex  members  entered the
room and dark  freezing crowled down my
neck:
Do you  remember the  dutch guy  I told
you from the RADWAR-party V in the last
issue who  ended in  the hospital  with
alcohol-poisiness?

He  came in  with  his  friend.  I  was
shocked  as I heard  they would  be new
members of Duplex!!!

In  the  evening  there  were  about 10
computers (4 Amigas)  and a lot of cool
guyz from:

     and lot of groupless boyz

About 40 men ran  through the room. Oh,
you miss  Oracle? That was a real funny
thing. No guy of Oracle has come to the
party so they decided to make one lamer
to a  new Oracle  member so  that  they
could write in their mag and demos that
Oracle has been there.

A little  bit shame  was that  only the
Electrons  got really  new  stuff  that
came  out that  week like  Lammings and
Nitro, but on  64 the newest  thing was
Turrican 2 and Stromlord 2.

The  entrance  cost 5  marks,  the beer
(financed by NEWS) 1.50 mark and coffee
... I don´t know (but drank a lot!).

I was  glad as I  saw David Lightman of
my group coming  towards me and telling
things  like:  Got  nothing  than  your
disks  and a  2. drive. Do  ya have new
Demos and ya source? Real tough!

Late at  night Gorbi  went home and the
sending  with my  our disk-Mag  reached
Meschede. So I  throwed it in the drive
and first took a look of the intro.
The Vector-Bobs  were rather quick, but
nothing unusual good.  But ... what was

that? There  was shit of  memory in the
scroller. David  said he sent the intro
and the ex-Travellers would include the
scroller  and crunch  it down.  But  he
didn´t thought  that they wouldn´t read
the text before sending it to us.

So we stopped  spreading it and shelted
like hell.

The first day was quite  perfect and we
looked  forward  to Saturday.  This day
made  no problems.  But  then  Saturday
night came up and the horror began:

During the  night we built  up new cool
connections and drank a lot.

So the first shit was pre-programmed.
The friend of the dutch freak I told in
the beginning  drank like a master only
the  heaviest  alcoholics  we  had  and
after an hour he puke  through the room
and fell down to earth like dead. So we
had to alarm the hospital again and the
bad mood rised up.

That´s  not all!  After another  hour a
guy came to  us crying  like his mother
has  died and said:  "Who has stolen my
C 128 with monitor and disks?"

Oh fucking arse!  That party is getting
a bit  lame I thought. But that was not
all!

A few Skinheads  stormed the party room
and said they wanto kill  Gorbi because
of personal problems they got.
During we  tried to suggest them not to
make to much problems someone stole the
cassette with all the money inside.
That was about 300 hard german marks!

With the  help from  the owner  of  the
room we made the  Skins leave the house

but Gorbi got a few hits before.

Then the house was shutted-down and all
freax inside had to wait till the skins
sat  in front  of the  building.  There
were about  7 of ´em  and some had gone
probably to get more friend to break in
the house.

Someone  called the  police to  protect
the leaving  people of getting problems
with the Skins. But that made no result
because the  police in that town feared
the Skins.  So they said:  "If anything
is happening call  us again, then we´ll
see if there something has to be done."

The problem  was not  that we  couldn´t
fight  against  the  Skins.  The  freax
feared about  their hardware that could
be destroyed during a fight.

Gorbi  sat down  and tried  to kill his
problems with drinking to death. So the
most of the others did.

The next  day the  Skins have  gone and
the  first freax  got  the  courage  to
leave the house.

Yo, so the party took a heavy end.
Gorbi has no money to pay the room.
Gorbi has no money to pay the beer.
Gorbi has no money to buy a bullet  for
himself. I think that would be the only
thing he can do now.

Or  I would  give  him the hint to  end
Duplex.
