 INTERVIEW - LORD/ABSOLUTE^US!

 Interview by: Psyche/Devious.

 1) Firstly, tell us a bit about
 yourself (Age,Group,Country etc)..

Hmm.. As you mentioned in the
headline already, my handle is Lord..
Actually I'm a member of aBSOLUTe!
and US. My real name is Peter..I live
in the capital of a small middle-east
 european country called Hungary...
Since I'm just 18, I still go to
school (fortunately it's my last year
there). No doubt about that Hungary
is the most beatiful place in
Europe... In every year lot of people
 visit our lake called 'Balaton'
 (Blatten-see in German).

 2) Cool, ok tell us some of the
previous groups you have been and
 what they were like!

huh... well, my first Amiga group was
 a local hungarian one called
Hyperacidity.. It was still in 1992..
then I left them to join up to
Creator (in spite of its not having
been a famous crew abroad, but it was
the 2nd best in Hungary!). A few
months later I left for Vision and
 afterward to Surprise! Prods. After
the Party 3 I joined one of the most
 famous hungarian group, aBSOlUTe!
that I still belongs to... IN the end
of august (this year) some friends of
mine formed a new group (US) and I
thought to also join up them to
strength their forces as a double
 member....

 3) So, how long have you been in
Absolute? And why did you join?

Well, as I've said above I joined
aBS! after the Party 3, so I've been
 there for 1 year now...
Why did I join them? It's simple... I
already had been in good friendship
with lot of aBS! member before, and
then I was offered to join and didn't
 refuse that... hehe.

 4) You also joined a group called
"US", tell us a little more about
this group and some members who are
 in this?

 US?! It's a new group
 formed by Scmoovy-Scmoov/Complex and
Monty/Paradox in the end of august
(after the death of Cplx France). I
joined their forces still in august..
By now, we got lots of new and
 talented members (e.g Redman, Rahiem,
 Gfx-Twins, G.t.o - all of them from
 Digital - and Haralampie/Enemy) ...
Our first trackmo is supposed to be
 released already....

 5) What are some future releases that
will come from Absolute and US?

Well... a new mag from abS! (CuLT -
Sledge Hammer is dead!!!), a new demo
by Edge (coder) and Rack (gfx) - both
prods. are planned to be released at
 the Party 4!
US: may be a new trackmo (as I have
mentioned already our first one must
have been released by now - code:
 Scmoovy   ;  gfx:  Suny, Gfx-Twins  ;
 music: Reflex).

 6) Tell us a bit about the scene over
 there in Hungary?

Since Hungary is just a small country
 (with hardly 8 million inhabitants)
our scene can't be as big as e.g the
 German... There are several smaller
groups and just a few big one
 (Majic12, Creator, Frame18 and
aBSOLUTe!). Hungary is in lack of
talents, so the groups suffer in lack
 of good coders and graphicians...
There are just a few outstanding
persons (like Rack... hehe). And in
 Hungary (I consider in other
countries as well) the majority of
the computers is PC... So.. It's hard
to set up a really good Amiga group
 from hungarian members only...

 7) What do you think of the Amiga
 Scene over all?

Yes, the Amiga scene is rising day by
day (it had a bearish tend in 1992
 - after the death of THE big legends
.. e.g TSL - but since then it seems
 to be rising again).
And the AGA graphic gives a more
wider scale of possibilties for us as
 well.

 8) How long have you now been a
Swapper for? And what do you think of
 the swapping scene?

Well, I've been swapping since I
bought my Amiga... Only my interest
 in programs has changed...
As far as I'm concerned, I think,
swapping is on its decay... Every
bigger swapper buy modem and more or
less reduce his swapping... But it'll
never die! There always have been
(and even will be) people who can't
afford to buy a modem and phreak his
line not to pay high phonebills...
But in my opinon people swap less
 nowadays than they used to...

 9) You have been to many Scene
parties all over the Globe, which one
would you say was the best and why?

No doubt the best parties were The
 Parties (especially the first and
 second).
They weren't full of PCs, quite much
 visitors were there, the atmosphere
of them were great and even the party
 releases had quantity... So, you
could have had a nice time there...

 10) You also are a sysop of a BBS,
tell us a bit about it!

 Yes, I'm a sysop, too... My board's
name is Number of the Beast (if you
like the heavy music you know where
 it comes from)...
It's the aBSOLuTE! whq aND uS eHQ...
 Its number is +36-12914029 ...
But you need a NUP as well...

 11) What are your plans for the
 future?

To finish this interview, to send it
to you and to enjoy reading your mag.

 12) What do you think about cracking
 games etc..?

Yes, yes! Keep on! I never buy any
original program, due to the lack of
money (which is general I think on
 the scene).
Never let die PSG, PDX and PDY!!!

 13) Who are your favourite demo
 groups?

Hmmm... I have lots of favoured
group... Nowadays I'm a big fan of
Polka Bros., M&M and Virtual Dreams..
But of course not (only) the name of
the group mean, but the productions
 they made...

 14) You call alot of Australian
BBS's, what do think of the Aussie
 Modem Scene?

Yes, I call lot of boards in OZ...
Well, I think, since the aussies' are
too far away from the real demo scene
(Europe) and the post is too slow
for mailtrading, thus if they wanna
get the latest releases still in time
 they must call abroad and
 modemtrade... and According to these
 things the australian modemscene are
 going upward....

 15) How do you think the future will
 be like for the Amiga?

Amiga rules forever! (and I'm looking
forward to seeing the new Amiga model
 - A1300).

 16) Do you have a girlfriend? If so,
what does she look like? hehe!!

yes, sure... I'm not impotent... She
is 178 cm and 54 kg.. Her eyes are
blue, her tight thighs are sparking
at touch and her busts are round as a
ball, so fit to her auburn skin.

 17) OK, thanx for the interview!! Now
you can say a few words to some
 friends or whatever you like!!

Don't 4get to call my board
 (+36-12914029) ..and of course greetz
to all of my contacts... And thanks
 for the interview...
