BB : Salut  Photos,  pourrais-tu  te  présenter  en  quelques  lignes  (âge,
     configuration, parcours sur la scéne,....) ?

P  : Pas  de  problème  pour  cela, je  m'appelle nicolas,je vais sur mes 24
ans (je  commence  à être vieux!!!Mais bon on fait avec...). En ce moment je
suis en seçonde année de bts informatique (et c'est vraiment la galère).
Pour ma configuration :
un vieil amiga 500 que j'ai depuis 1989 avec un 1084s comme moniteur,un 2eme
lecteur  pour les copies et une petite extension mémoire. Pour mon parcours,
j'ai  commencé  en  1990  avec  BRAINWASHER, nous avions formé un groupe qui
s'appellait  TBW  mais  nous n'avions rien sorti, puis 2 ou 3 mois plus tard
nous  sommes  rentré  dans EREMATION qui été un groupe de crack et avait été
crée par des allemands. Après quelques temps,nous nous sommes retrouvés seul
moi  et BRAINWASHER et nous avons continué notre petite route pour le fun ou
d'autre nous on rejoint par la suite...

BB : Quelles sont tes passions en dehors de l'amiga ?

P  : Il  m'arrive  de temps en temps de faire des raves mais bon l'amiga est
toujours  avec  moi car je m'occupe de passer des démos sur écran géant tout
en  les  mixant avec des k7 video. Sinon j'écoute de la techno sur une radio
locale  qui  s'appelle  FEELING, il  en passe 24h/24h et c'est vraiment cool
(en  tous les cas pour ceux qui aiment cela, mais aussi j'écoute du punk). A
merde j'allais oublier ma copine et oui il faut bien se soulager de temps en
temps ça fait du bien car la veuve poignet c'est bon quand t'es jeune..Sinon
faire  la fête avec les copains et fumer des cigarettes magiques en chocolat
(c'est nouveau ça vient de sortir,merci MATRIX..)

BB : Pourquoi as tu choisis Photos comme pseudo ?

P  : Très bonne question..il faut dire que quand j'ai commencé je me nommais
DOC  SAVAGE et un beau jour j'ai voulu changer pour que ça fasse un peu plus
graphiste. Donc ce beau jour-là, je suis rentré dans la chambre de mon frère
qui  était  un  fana de skate board et je suis tombé sur une affiche où il y
avait  marqué  PHOTOS (on prononce le s à la fin). Et  voilà  pour la petite
histoire.

BB : Que  penses-tu  de la scéne  en  général ?  Et de la scéne Francaise en
     particulier ?

P  : Pour  le  moment je suis à 1000 de la scène car je n'ai vraiment pas le
temps  de  lire  les mags ou de swapper car avec mon bts à la fin de l'année
c'est  vraiment  pas  évident. Je  trouve juste le temps de dessiner pour le
groupe  et  de  préparer  un  gfx pour la saturne 3. En tous les cas je peux
parler  d'EREMATION  sur  le  plan  de la scène car il faut dire que nous ne
sommes pas très productifs en ce monent car tous les membres font des études
supérieures (et les études passent avant tout ...)

BB : Quels  sont, en  France, tes graphistes, musiciens, coders, productions
     et groupes préférés ? (Pas la peine de parler de  SPASM car on sait que
     tu ne le penses pas...)

P  : ra!!RA!!RARARARARA T'A COMPRIS, C'EST RA LE MEILLEUR GRAPHISTE. Il faut
bien le dire c'est le meilleur. Je ne dis pas cela à la légère mais quand tu
le  vois faire un gfx tu restes baba et quand tu regardes ces logos c'est du
délire. Mais aussi j'aime bien COUGAR (Est-il Francais ? Il faut lire atten-
tivement  les  questions, comme me le disent mes profs !! -Al), malgré qu'il
met dessus pour la party 4  mais il reste excellent (J'comprends pas...-Al).
Pour les  musiciens  il y a du  bon et  du moins  bon  partout. Passons  aux
codeurs:GENGIS,DR SKULL(Francais? -Al),CHAOS(Francais? -Al) ET PET(Francais?
-A. Il y a vraiment rien  à  dire  sur  ces personnes-là  car ils  sont d'un
niveau que personne ne pourra  rattraper, ils sont à des années lumières des
autres codeurs. Comme vous le savez je n'ai pas de machine AGA et donc je ne
peux voir que la ARTE de SANITY et la EXTENSION de PYGME PROGECT (Francais ?
-Al) qui sont les meilleures sur A500.

BB : On ne te posera pas de questions a propos des scanners, mais si tu veux
     dire quelquechose, vas-y mon grand...

P  : ALEX  a  dit  un  jour  "SI  LE  SCANNER  A ETE INVENTE C'EST POUR ETRE
UTILISE...", il a tout à fait raison mais ne croyez pas que je l'utilise car
j'essaye de terminer les dessins que je présente en competition sur place ça
a  été  le cas à la party 3 et à la saturne 2 mais aussi je garde toutes les
étapes. Mais bon il y a beaucoup de gens qui pensent que quand un dessin est
parfait, il est scanné et bien c'est faux (dans la plupart du temps). Je dis
cela car pour le dessin qui m'a permis d'être 3ème à la saturne 2 ,il manque
un  doigt  à  la  main  gauche  de  la copine de BRAINWASHER (et oui j'ai un
scanner qui n'aime pas les doigts???gag).

BB : Qu'est-ce que tu penses des hérissons morts sur le bord de la route ?

P  : Je  préfère les troupeaux de champignons, ils restent sur le bord de la
route, c'est beaucoup mieux pour ma 4L GTL de 1978.

BB : Si tu pouvais entrer dans le groupe que tu veux, lequel choisirais tu ?

P  : Euh!euh!..(grande réflexion)...J'ai trouvé, EREMATION, pourquoi quitter
mon groupe alors que nous l'avons vu évoluer pendant 5 ans avec des hauts et
des  bas  (et  depuis  ce  temps-là  nous  n'avons  toujours  pas  trouvé de
musiciens). Mais par contre si nous décidions d'arrêter un jour EREMATION ça
serait SANITY, BOMBS OU VD. Mais d'abord il faudrait que je sois meilleur en
dessin car il faut un très bon niveau pour rentrer dans ces groupes-là.

BB : Que penses tu du swap ?

P  : Et  bien pour le moment pas grande chose car je ne swappe plus coz BTS,
mais  bon  ça  me  manque  un  max, car tu écris la plus part du temps à des
mecs  trés  sympa avec qui tu peux délirer un maximun. En tous les cas c'est
cool.

BB : Quelles sont les futures productions d'Eremation ?

P  : Tout d'abord,une petite 64ko pour la saturne,un slide de mes gfx car il
commence à y en avoir, un utilitaire pour swappeur et sûrement que FIREBLADE
améliore son convertisseur AGA.Voila pour le moment...

BB : Pour toi, quel est le meilleur graph  jamais  réalisé, et  le  meilleur
     graphiste ?

P  : PUTAIN DE MERDE IL FAUT QUE JE LE GUEULE ENCORE UNE FOIS C'EST RA RA RA
RA  RA RA TARATATA bref j'y peux rien si à chaque fois que je vois un de ces
gfx  je  suis dégoûté mais bon ça motive. Sinon pour le moment je n'ai aucun
nom en tête mais RA et COUGAR font de très, très bon gfx.

BB : Bon  ben  on est  désolé  mais on  va devoir  te laisser  avec la veuve
poignet!! Encore merci pour cette interview !

P  : Pas  de problème et  n'oublies pas  d'envoyer  le  chèque. (Pourquoi un
chéque, t'as même pas cité SPASM ou un de nos membres en  en disant beaucoup
de  bien ??? -Al)

BB : Hi Photos ! Could you please tell us a bit about you (age,hardware, way
on the scene,...) ?

P  : No problem about this, I'm called Nicolas, I'm nearly  24 (I'm starting
getting old !! But I have to live with it...). At the  moment, I'm in my 2nd
year of "BTS Informatique" (and it's really a pain in the ass).
My hardware :
an old Amiga 500 which I have  since 1989 with a 1084S Monitor, an  external
diskdrive to copy and a small memory extension. About my way on the scene, I
started in 1990 with BRAINWASHER, we had created  a group called TBW but  we
haven't  released anything. Then, 2 or 3  months later, we joined  EREMATION
which was a cracking group and had been created by some germans. Little time
later, we were the last members of the group and we have kept on looking for
fun and some other dudes helped us in this...

BB : What are your hobbies besides the Amiga ?

P  : I sometimes organise  raves but the amiga is  always with  me as I show
demos  on a giant  screen, mixing them with  VHSs. Except  this, I listen to
techno on a local radio called FEELING, they play this 24 hours a day and it
is really great (at least, for those who like that kind of music, but I also
listen to Punk). Shit, I had nearly forgotten my girlfriend, yes, it's  good
to relax from time to time because the hand is  good when one is young...And
also having fun with friends and smoke  magic chocolate cigarettes (It's new
and just out, thanx MATRIX...).

BB : Why did you choose Photos as a handle ?

P  : Very good question...I have to say that when I began, I  was called DOC
SAVAGE and one  day I decided to choose a new  handle, that sounds more as a
graphician  handle. So, this lovely day, I entered my brother's room who was
a skate-board fan and I saw  a picture where it was written Photos (you have
to say the s in the end). And here's the story...

BB : What  do you think of the scene ? And more  particularly, of the french
scene ?

P  : At the moment, I'm  very distant from the scene as I  don't really have
time to read  mags or to swap because with my BTS at the end of the year, it
isn't really easy. I just have enough time to draw for my group and to paint
a picture for the Saturne Party III. Anyway, I can tell  something about ERM
on this  subject, as it's  true we're not  really productive  because at the
moment, all our members are doing  superior studies (and the studies are the
most important...)

BB : Which are, in  France, your  favourite  graphicians, musicians, coders,
productions and groups? (Don't talk about SPASM, as we know you don't really
think it...)

P  : ra!!RA!!RARARARA YOU'VE UNDERSTOOD, RA IS THE BEST GRAPHICIAN. I really
have  to say he's  the best. I say  this very  seriously,  when you see  him
painting a picture, you're amazed, and when you look at his logos...!!!! But
I  also like  COUGAR (Is he  french ? Read  carefully the  questions, as  my
teachers keep on telling...-Al). He's excellent! For the musicians there are
some good ones and some less good ones everywhere. About the coders: GENGIS,
DR SKULL (French ? -Al), CHAOS (French ? -Al) & PET (French ? -Al). One  may
say whatever he wants, they have reached a level that nobody else can reach,
they  are far away  from  other  coders. As  you know, I  don't have an  AGA
machine  and so I can  only see ARTE  from SANITY  and EXTENSION  from PYGMY
PROJECTS (French ? -Al) which are the best on A500.

BB : We  won't  ask  you  anything  about  scanners, but  if you want to say
something, then go on...

P  : ALEX once told "IF THE SCANNER HAS BEEN INVENTED, IT'S TO  BE USED...",
he's  perfectly right  but don't think  I use it, as  I try to finish all my
competition pictures on the party place, as for the Party III or the Saturne
II and I keep each step. But there are people thinking that if a picture  is
perfect, then it's scanned : it's absolutely wrong (most of the time). I say
this because in my picture which got the  third place at the Saturne II, one
finger is lacking at the left hand of BRAINWASHER's girlfriend (Yeah! I have
a scanner that doesn't like fingers ???Joke).

BB : What about the dead hedgehogs on the road-side ?

P  : I  prefer mushroom  troops, they  stay on the road  side and it's  much
better for my 4L GTL of 1978.

BB : If you could join any group, which one would you choose ?

P  : Erm...erm...(huge thinking)..I've found, EREMATION, why leaving a group
I've seen evolving for 5 years  with up and downs (and since then, we  still
haven't found any musicians) ? But if we had to stop EREMATION one day, then
it would be SANITY, BOMB or VD. But first,I'd have to be a better graphician
because to join those groups, one has to be very good.

BB : What about swapping ?

P  : Well, at the moment not a lot because I do no longer swap because of my
BTS but I miss it a lot,because most of the time you write to very cool guys
and you have a lot of fun. It's cool, anyway.

BB : What's EREMATION planning to release ?

P  : First, a little 64Ko intro fro the Saturne III, a slideshow of my  gfxs
as there  are quite  many  now, an utility for  swappers and  FIREBLADE will
certainly upgrade his AGA convertor. That's all for now..

BB : What's the best ever painted picture ? And graphician ?

P  : FUCKING SHIT, I HAVE TO SCREAM IT ONE MORE TIME, IT'S RA RA RA RA RA RA
RATATATATA.Each time I see one of his pictures,I'm amazed and that motivates
me a lot. The only one I can think of are RA and COUGAR,they draw very, very
good pictures.

BB : We're sorry  but we'll have to let  you enjoy your  hand !! Once more :
