SMAU REPORT In 1992 by Posdnuos & M.A.S.E./Ram Jam This conference is for sure the best in Italy, but it seem to be ignored from the rest of Europe. It takes place every year in Milan the first week of October and represent the principal meeting of information science and electronic Italian. Of course, this show is the best occasion for Italian Amiga guys to meet friends from other groups. The Commodore Stand is the ideal place where everyone presents his new productions and talk about the scene. Also this year there were lots of people coming from every part of Italy. Here we have a short list of the most famous ones present this year... DIVINA Also this year they didn't release anything important (except some intros). But they are planning to code a trackmo that will be for sure quite good. We saw some graphics from their graphicians and they were really cool. GHOSTLY SPREADERS This old but unknown group was present with the new issue of their magazine called "Italian Directory". HALF BRAINS TEAM This group who is really old but only recently get famous (their trackmo "Sunstone" won the competition at TRSI-Majic 12 party) was present with DDT, Mr. Madness and Pythagora. Unluckily they didn't release anything. I.B.B. The Italian Legend was present with almost all their members (someone totally unknown), and they were quickly recognizables by their beautiful T-Shirts designed by Street-Shaman. They wanted to release a special issue of "Bad Tongue", but it didn't work on A600. So they tried to make a fixed version but someone turned off the computers at Commodore stand before closing time. NIGHTFALL MRC, XAD and The Ripper showed up on sunday and they brought a music-disk. We don't know if they released other productions. RAM JAM We have released a trackmo "Imuzination" on 2 disks, a musicdisk called "Tekno-Merda" (tekno shit) only for Italian guys and an intro called "Cat-TRO" by ACBS. Most of the members were present. SKANDAL This new group that consists of ex-Grace members was planning to code some impressive demo but they released only an intro. VEGA The "Freedom Crack" editors were present and they released a trackmo called "Automa" with some original ideas and others copied from Razor 1911's "Voyage", nice tunes by Filippetto and DjMad. ZERO DEFECTS Only Terminator showed up, but he didn't release anything... Anyway it was a pleasure for everyone to see that the most talented Italian coder was alive... We are sorry if someone is missing, but believe us is not possible to know all guys that were there.
