An interview with Array/ex-Scorpio Done By Cloud 9/Vicious He was in the scene for 4 years, but recently he decided to left the scene. Cloud 9/Vicious made an interview with him. Hi Array! Please introduce yourself.. How original! Please introduce myself. Well, for the complete scene who doesn't know me I am: Array of ex-Scorpio, 18 years old, real name : Patrick, I'm attending a pre- university school (VWO), my hobbies are Volleyball, Computing, Saturday- night-life and sleeping. Why the heck did you left the scene? Not enough friendship? No good productions? Pissed off by the death of Scorpio? Me leaving the scene has nothing to do with the scene as a whole. I flunked school once and I am not planning to flunk my exams so I decided it was better to concentrate more on school. I made the decision of concentrating more on school much earlier but because I was motivated to do my best for Scorpio I had nearly no time for school. With the death of Scorpio motivation was gone to go on in yet another group so I quited! Is it possible you'll ever make a come-back to the scene, and if yes, again as a swapper? There is a very small chance I will return to a scene and thrust me this doesn't have to be the Amiga scene. But IF I will return to any scene it will be as a programmer (of serious software, and maybe some demos in my spare time). But you probably have seen the last of me (altough I might write some articles 'cause I like that and anyway it is as simple as drinking a beer). Don't you think you will miss the scene? Do you think you will miss the mail? maybe the first time I will miss the sound of mail falling on the floor in the hall but time heals all wounds. Miss the scene? Some friends I made in the scene I will miss but the scene as a whole not really except for the cool productions the scene releases (although there is even more shit released). Could you discribe your scene history and please a bit detailed? I started out as a beginner and tried to get some contacts, soon I got Mad Shitbrain of Pussy as a contact and I asked him if I could join Pussy, he told me that I could if I wanted to set up the Dutch division of Pussy which I didn't but then the Dutch division was set up by some other dudes (who are now in JetSet) and I joined them as a swapper. Well, there appeared some internal problems in Pussy (look in old diskmags for info) and the Dutch division separated from the Belgian and we took some belgians with us in JetSet. Well, I was kicked after some time because I was lazy (and I can't blame them). Then I joined The Lords (with the now famous Ramon B5 (now leader of Desire -C9) as a leader) and some time passed and we died. I went to Vermin, Vermin died.. I went to La Rocca and they died... (hey Riox!) then Scorpio was brought alive by Sane, and I could join (thanks?!). Well, in Scorpio I felt a bit 'in the scene' but guess what... Scorpio died! My handles in chronological order: Echo, Goblin, Array. Gee... That's detailed... You have been quite a long time in the Dutch scene, what do you think of the Dutch scene, also compared to other countries? I will only give my opinion of nowadays scene. In Holland the scene is nice but nowhere close to cool. There are some "Elite" crews here (JetSet, Mirage and Freestyle), there are some promising crews (Vicious, Zite) and there are some lame crews (Silicon Ltd., Centura, Trance). All other groups not mentioned weren't worth to be mentioned. (Desire takes in a special place, it's more a fun crew and they manage to keep a good quality too but they don't have the flair of an Elite crew). Compared to other countries: Better than Belgium, Hungary, Ireland, Turkey, U.K. Worse than Scandinavia, Germany, France, Switzerland. Do you have a question you would like me to ask you? Hey! Who's the one that asks the questions here? You or you? OK, it's me, Cloud 9. You might have guessed it by the previous question, I'm out of inspiration so this means the end of the interview. Oh, of course you can now write some greetings or messages to your friends. Sane/ex.Scorpio: C ya in the 'Stads', let's get drunk together when we passed our exams! Quazar/ex.Scorpio: Don't make any mistakes by choosing the wrong group (not Centura!). Hope you will help me with my coding-efforts. Cone/TRSI: Met you once, you are a kewl (lame word!) dude. Hope you stay in the scene longer than I. Decca/Supplex: Hopefully me quiting the scene doesn't mean that you stop calling me from the cool hamburger- meetings you have there. Mincer/Complex: Thanks for calling and sorry for first whining for your packages and then quiting. Ramon B5/Desire: The letters get shorter when your contact list got bigger, thanks for everything anyway. Riox/Desire: Still alive. Better call me one day! Rod/Polaris: Guess the war is the reason my letter never arrive?! Risk/?: Bet you know what I mean... Zorro/Comedy: Thanks for all the cool work!
