  Yep,  the legend continues!  Once again an Amiga only-party will be held!  If
 you were there the first time, you just have to be there again...
 
 ->Where & When
 
  Motorola Inside 1998 will be held at 8-Sali, Lahti, Finland.  Doors will open
 on  Friday the 26.th of June at 17:00 CET (18:00 local time) and will close on
 Sunday  28.th  of  June at 11:00 CET (12:00 local time).  Entry fee is only 70
 FIM  for the weekend.  And as usual, girls and foreigners gets a free entrance
 (a passport/id-card required for foreigners!)
 
 
                                   Facilities
                                   ----------
 * NO PC'S IN THE PARTYAREA!
 * Room for over 400 people.
 * Cheap cafeteria will be open 24h/day.
 * Maybe a limited amount of 'Motorola Inside 2'- t-shirts will be sold.
 * Showers (can be reserved for 25 minutes at a time) for free of charge.
 * 48 hours of pure AMIGA atmosphere!
 * bringing a PC to partyarea is more than wanted!  This way organizers will
   get a chance to kick him/her out using reasonable amount of violence!
 * NO AMIGIST won't be thrown out because of alcohol!!!
 * Lotsa usual competitions and some surprise compos!

 necessary payments(like rent, cafeteria food, damages...) are reduced )

  A lot of people have asked us if could be possible to pay prizes only for the
 first  and second entries, so that the prizes gets a bit higher.  We are happy
 to announce that this is okay for us, and indeed what we are going to do.

 * Must be exitable by mouseclick
 * No more than 5 minutes will be shown.

 * Max size is 880kb
 * It must be in Protracker/Octamed/Soundstudio/Digibooster format.
 * Entries will be played with Octamed Soundstudio/Digibooster
 * Max. 5 minutes will be played
 * If too many entries are delivered, a jury will be set.
 * Soundcard might be used so 16 bit samples can be used.
 
 The  artist  must be in prize giving ceremony to receive the prize.
 
-= GRAPHICS =-
 
 * Max. size is 880Kb.
 * Max. resolution is PAL 640 x 512. (Videocannon restriction)
 * Accepted formats: jpeg, gif, iff.

 -= THX-MUSIC =-
 
 * Will be played with latest THX-replayer available (Currently v2.10).
 * Maximum playtime is 3 minutes.
 * And  to  make  it more interesting:  the tune HAS to be a Popcorn-clone.
   You remember this chippyhappy tune from 80's...?
 
  The  author  doesn't  have to be at party, but a representative HAVE to be in
 place to receive the prize.
 
 -= FAST GFX =-
 
 *  Will be held only if enough entries/time is available!
 *  25 mins time to finish picture.
 *  The  machine  will be provided by the organizers with the same setup for
    everyone (320x256 32 colours)
 *  Choice of paintprograms: DeluxePaint or PersonalPaint.
 
 The  artist  must be in prize giving ceremony to receive the prize.
 
 -= OUTDOOR COMPETITIONS =-
 
  Will  be  held if the weather is fine and there is enough time.  Nice'n'small
 prizes so start training your footballteams now.  One coach/team !  ;-)
 
 -= General Notes -=
 
 * We will not accept weapons, spraycans, PC's, Bill Gates or firework etc.
 * If you damage any property and get caught, it'll go straight to police.
 * We don't take responsibility for illegal swapping of software ;-)
 * If you take a part in a competition you must be at the prize giving
   ceremony. Incase of THX compo only a representative must be at the party.
 * Competition entry disks will not be returned.
 * All filenames must NOT be ISO-9660 8+3 standard =)
 * Entry fee for whole weekend is 70 FIM.
 * Breaking beer bottles outside the partyhall is ABSOLUTELY not acceptable
   as there are cars in the parkinglot.
 * If/when organizers run out of booze, we reserve the right to confiscate
   required amount of alcohol from visitors.
 
  Voting  system will different be this year.  Now you vote onto a votedisk and
 we  won't  take  the disks back.  You only bring your votedisk to the infodesk
 and  a  personal keycode will be written on it.  We then read the keycode data
 from the disk and you get it back.  You can bring it as many times as you want
 because votecounter updates your data and won't accept for doubles
 
  We  think  there'll  be no problems.  Last years visitors knew how to behave!
 Save  your  destroying  strength to PC-parties and everybody will have a jolly
 good time.  Welcome to the Amiga paradise, on 26.-28.6.  1998!!!
