0002Interview with 0301LIZARDKING / RAZOR 191100 and Triton (PC) 01Lizardking is one of the most popular musicians at the moment. He seems to take part in as good as every competition and has recently released his first CD. He is also the man behind the very soundtrack in this issue of Oepir Risti. Before I start this interview I just want to say that I am on the Assembly '94. Slash 02Lizardking 01Please tell me how old you are and a little about yourself. 02I'm 20 years old. I am a musician. I do the military service, but I'm quite active when it comes to composing music. I like to party and meet girls; I met a girl on the ferry to this party. 01How long have you been composing ? 02Since 1987. 01Tell me a little about how you compose (methods, influences, etc.). 02The technique is, new technic (? /e-). I care a lot about getting my tunes sound as I want, and when a tune is good I listen to it again and again until I get tired of it. I then find errors and fix them. I hate the tunes afterwards. 01What future plans do you have in computer music? 02Going to continue composing. The tunes are gonna be what they'll be. 01Do you compose 'real' music? Tell me a little about it. Future plans? 02Composing on synthesizers is another thing than composing on 4 channels. Beat the shit out of 4 channels! Future plans? Hard to know, are soon getting out my 1st CD. Yes, even among usual people. I'm gonna send it to record companies for usual sale. 01Do you compose gamemusic? Future plans? 02Have had bad luck. Nothing has been released. On The Gathering '94 I were on employment interview at Funcom, but I had a little bad luck. I'm interested in working on this after the military service. 01Who are your favourite musicians in the scene? 02Previously: Tip & Mantronix. Now: Jogeir and Dizzy plus many other musicians that I like too. 01Are there any upcoming productions from you and your crew? 02"Physiology" (CD), "Memorial Songs 2" (musicdisk) and some demos and intros. 01I'll name some musicians. Tell me what you think about them. 01Jogeir Liljedahl: 02His calm tunes are very good. Have heard very little of his fast tunes, but the ones I've heard was average. 01Audiomonster: 02Haven't heard so much lately, but the things he has done is good. I love his flummy style. 01Heatbeat: 02He has done many tunes. The quality variates very much. Some tunes are bad because they are exaggerated, some tunes are masterpieces. 01Jester: 02Long time since I heard something from him. Standard and very commercial style on hit tunes. Has made some good tunes like "Cyberride". 01Nuke: 02Haven't heard anything from him for a long time so it's hard to say something about his new tunes. In the good old times he made some very good funktunes. 01Vinnie: 02Have heard some competition tunes and some introtunes from him. Well made music, but a bit in memory. (Öh? /e-) 01Lizard: 02Sounds very Norwegian. Good varying style. 01Jason: 02Long time since I heard something from him. Good in making music. 01Mr. Man: 02As Lizard in style. Typical Andromeda musician. Makes tunes that fit good in their demos. 01What real music do you prefer (styles, bands)? 02I like almost everything. I eat everything, so to speak ('Allätare' kan vara svårt att översätta. . . /e-). OK! We will stop here. Thank you Lizardking for the interview, I really enjoy your music. Take care out there mate. 02- Slash / Citron.
