SOUTH SEALAND '94 - RESULTS - DEMO COMPETITION: 1. Love by Virtual Dreams 2. Gevalia by Polka Brothers 3. Mr. Monkey by Rebels GRAPHICS COMPETITION: 1. Devilstar of Virtual Dreams 2. Jade & Hannibal 3. Motion of Balance MUSIC COMPETITION: 1. Starmaster of Prologik 2. Vocal & Bluefox 3. Chorus & Sid of Jewels - DEMO REVIEWS - LOVE by VIRTUAL DREAMS (AGA) Code by Dr.Skull Gfx by Jaco Music by Jogeir As TSUNAMI seems to be quite silent lately, or perhaps still lost in the Chaos Land? here's VIRTUAL DREAMS striking another of his aces, and more precisely the wellknown DR. SKULL, that has chosen this party to release his new hit. LOVE is one of those few demos where the use of the word 'masterpiece' is necessary. Placed on two disks, if features two different parts. A first one where the real demo goes on, and here the quality is really high with both the code and the graphics showing the power of the AGA. A second part featuring an impressive ray-tracing animation (a giant FAIRLIGHT-logo in a room) to complete the whole thing. If then we add two great tunes from no-one else than JOGEIR, everything has been said. Forget FULL MOON, LOVE is much better! GEVALIA by POLKA BROTHERS (AGA) Code by Airwalk Gfx by Pixie Music by Slide We cannot make else that confirm what we said some months ago when F.A.E. got the third place at the Gathering. POLKA BROTHERS, with their fresh and original style, are absolutely one of the most promising crews around. Following the successful F.A.E. style, AIRWALK gave us with GEVALIA another jewel of perfect timing, where the usual great fast-tune by SLIDE perfectly fits the whole thing. NONAME by POLKA BROTHERS (AGA) Code by Vention, Laxity Gfx by Devilstar, Pixie Music by Slide Differently to GEVALIA, NONAME is a production that move a bit away from the usual (or maybe AIRWALK's) Polka style, to a more traditional demo designing. VENTION and his pal LAXITY (that finally joined from the virtually dead Kefrens) have finally found the inspiration to release some new code and the final result is as always very good. Both the graphics and the music are of a remarkable level. Apart the wellknown DEVILSTAR, PIXIE seems to have got the potential to climb up rapidly the charts. SLIDE, with another of his crazy tunes, confirmed his talent (Read the Tune of the Month article).
