                     THE LAMEST PARTY WE HAVE EVER SEEN.
                     -----------------------------------

  First  of  all,  we  advise  you to read this article, because it is full of
emotions.  Indeed, this party was the lamest party ever organized in the whole
amiga  scene.   We  have  to  say  that everything in this article is true and
belongs to reality!  HAVE FUN!!!!!

  When we arrived to the party place we were very amazed coz it was not so big
as  told  in the invitation.  There was only room for about sixty amigas; they
said  there  will  be  room  for about 180-200 amigas.  As the beach party was
cancelled we hoped that many people will come; but in fact many of them didn't
come  coz  of  the  bad  reputation of INTRYX.  Indeed, it's the lamest french
"group"  with  about 35 members.  (they also have "HALF MEMBERS"!!!!) The guys
from  Intryx  didn't organize anything.  These little children stayed in their
own  room, watching films and drinking cola!  We haven't seen them except when
they  where  collecting the money!!!  There was a little panel at the entrance
of the party place, which told us to pay very fastly before using our amigas!!
They menaced us to switch off the electricity (while people where coding!!) if
we  wouldn't  have  paid!!!!  Then they told us many times to go to the bar to
buy  some  drinks and some food; it wasn't cheap at all.(crisps=15 francs) But
we were disappointed coz there were ONLY 50 PEOPLE at the party; and many guys
left  progressivly the place.  They were all thinking that this was a very bad
party.  Let's describe the party place:  no lavatories (a word from Djiby:  it
was  hard when at about 3 o'clock I wanted to have a shit.  I had to go to the
public lavatories and pay 1 franc to make it so far !!!  Cygnus/Nova wanted to
have a piss; and a guy was masturbating!!), in fact there was one but only for
Intryx  members.  There were only crisps to eat, where we were supposed to eat
sandwiches  as  told  in  the  invitation  sheet.  Let's have a word about the
so-called  competitions:   first,  as  there was no hour for any competitions,
Dts+Djiby/Nova  went  to ask for the deadline.  So the demonstration had to be
presented  at  6  o'clock  (sunday) and the gfx just before this.  Well....  I
(Djiby) will tell you how it took place:

  LET'S  GO...   As  the party was boring we decided to go to eat a burger.  I
was  thinking that I had a complete night to draw a gfx, coz they told that it
was  a realtime comp with a topic which was paradise or ocean.  In fact when I
came back they were voting for pic made before the party and which had nothing
to  do  with  the basic topic.  I had just the time to realize that it was the
gfx  comp,  and  to look for something to present, but it was too late.  I was
furious  and  near  to hit everyone.  So I decided to put one of my gfx on the
screen and wait for reactions of people.  Some of them were amazed, and wanted
to make a new vote.  I think my gfx are just correct but I can assure you that
the  first  prize was worse.  Mr.Keel told me that he had never seen me as red
as  I  was.   At  length  we  must  add that there were only 3 guys at the gfx
competition !!!!  - The realtime democompetition was cancelled; we had to make
it without any source, without any graphics.  So nobody made this competition.
-  Now,  let's  tell  you  some  facts about the music comp.  First of all, we
didn't  know  that  Daryl/Shining was a musician; indeed he presented 5 musics
which  were  not  bad at all!!!!  (aren't there 5 musicians in Shining germany
?).   First  there was no announcement of the authors.  So it was difficult to
vote!!!!   The  voting  system  was  lame  coz  we were forced to vote for the
authors  and  not  for  the  music.  So it was hard for Daryl not to be in the
first  3  places!!!   And  more,  you know what?  That's Daryl who counted the
votes!!   It's  strange  that a guy who is not told to be an organizer counted
the votes, isn't it?  Besides, he was in a first time claimed to be second but
3  hours  later  Blue  Silence/Nova  was  second!!!   First prize for a techno
fan(hum...hum..)  called  Dj  Maxx/Intense.   Now  let's  talk  about the demo
competition.   First of all most of the guys at party havn't prepared anything
!   Everybody  was progressivly leaving the party place because we had to wait
for  Intryx  to  finish  (??)  their  demos.   We had to wait all Sunday!  But
fortunately there were rare cool guys like Captain Jewels/Devils, Hiro/Liquid,
Belzebuth/Zenith  and  also  a  guy  called  Starsky/Visual Concept.  The only
finished  demo (95%) was the "FREEDOM DEMO" from Nova.  Devils had also made 3
parts  for  a  future  trackmo.   And  that's all !!  (except one amos demo by
Intryx  and  another  trackmo  by  Intryx,  full of bugs and which seemed very
ripped!!).   Just  a  little fact:  arthur found some code lessons on Intryx's
source  disk!  (some code lessons from Phoenix DP).  There were just 20 people
for  voting, and most of them were only voting for the group name.  (ex=Shiny)
After that Daryl counted the votes, the results were the following:

 1ST:   Intryx  with  their "Full of bugs" trackmo.  (they needed 2 amigas for
their  demo:   1  for  the demo itself and one for the music!  Cool!!  For the
first  time in the amiga demo world:  a trackmo which works with two amigas at
the same time!!).
 2d:  Devils with a good trackmo but only a preview.
 3rd:  Nova with our 2 disks demo.  (preview 95% finished).

  Captain   Jewels/DEVILS,  DTS/NOVA  were  furious!   They  wanted  to  break
everything,  especially  every  Intryx  members'  face.   The tension was each
second  more  and  more important and almost at the top when Intryx decided to
count  the votes for the second time.  Daryl was wrong for the second time, (a
short  message  from  Djiby  to Daryl:Hey guy, you should learn counting until
more  than  25!!!!!) coz the real RESULTS WERE CHANGED:  1st:  DEVILS (but all
Devils  members  agreed  to give us the first prize.  2nd:  NOVA (Don't accept
the  first  prize but decided to share the money.) 3rd:  GLUPSSS...  It's hard
to say:  Intryx.

  WE  must FINISH THIS REPORT by saying that there was SOME TROUBLES ABOUT the
PRIZES.  There was about 3700 francs in the cashbox.  The first prize was told
to  be  30%.  So it makes roughly 1200 frcs.  (are you ok Daryl?).  finally we
received  565  frcs  for  the first and 100 frcs for the second (it would have
represented  10%).   30%=600frcs  10%=100frcs????   (Daryl  where  are  you to
explain me).

  We  have  to  stop  here because there are too many things to say about this
f......  party.

  WE  HOPE  THAT  YOU'LL  NEVER GO TO SUCH A LAME PARTY.BUT WE WANTED TO WRITE
THIS ARTICLE JUST TO EXPLAIN YOU THAT SUCH PARTIES CAN EXIST.  SEE YOU.....

  After this little report here you are all the results together by Daryl, who
simply  sent  us  this  little  info about the party.  Anyway if Daryl our any
Intrix  member wants to release a reaction to this article go ahead, of course
we give place for everything!
