INTERVIEW WITH THE PRIDE OF BRAINSTORM

           BY SHADOW of LSD

My name is The Pride and I'm a member
of Brainstorm. I'm 20 years old. My
hobbies are parties, music, girls and
ofcourse computers. I have been in
different groups. In the begining I
founded a little group called TSE
together with Mr. Perfect of Silents.
But that group didn't grow so I left
and joined Zaxs, a subgroup to
Trilogy. After a while I joined Flash
Production. After two and a half
great years in Flash Prod. I joined
Brainstorm.

Brainstorm was founded in May 1989 by
Chester and Majestic. Brainstorm
released some demos, intros and sound
disks. At later summer 1989 the first
issue of Zine was released. Zine
became No.1 after the 4th issue.
Brainstorm greW and we are now 19
members.

The Danish scene is very lame. Once
the danish scene was the best. In
1988 when Bamiga Sector One ruled the
scene, and in 1987 when Warfalcons
was No.1 in the world. Now the Danish
scene is very bad. Many great groups
have died. Just look at Bamiga Sector
One, Kefrens and Flash Production
(well Flash is not completely dead)
The only great groups in Denmark now
is Anarchy, Quartex and maybe Rebels.

Our future projects is to release
demos, intros, musicdisks, packs and
ofcourse more issues of Zine. At the
moment we are 19 members. And they
goes like this;
8 coders,
3 musicians,
5 grafix artists and
3 traders.

Top crackers: Skid Row, Quartex,
Top coder teams : Phenomena, Anarchy,
Cryptoburners, Rebels,
Top swappers : Who cares about them!
Top trainer teams : Supplex, Razor
1911, Dual Crew,
Top pack makers : Anarchy, Vision,
Flash Production, Rebels, Lsd

I think that the world scene is quite
OK. Except from all the lamers who
claims to be the best and starts all
the wars. I think that many people in
the scene thinks more of friendship
than on business. In the cracker
teams there isn't much friendship,
that's only business. But in demos
groups the friendship is strong,
because you have to work together to
make something and to release things.

Do you think there are too many
magazines? No. Look in the real
world. There is many different
papers. But you only read the paper
you think is the best. Just do the
same with the disk mags.

I have written many articles for
different mags. Mostly for Zine,
but also for Stolen Data and Maggy.

Today it's the 28th of September.

I would have liked if you have asked
my what my favourite music groups
were, because music means a lot to me.
Then I would have answered that. I
like lotsa different groups, but
mostly Depeche Mode, Metallica, Guns
n' Roses, Scorpions, D.A.D, KLF,
Shamen and other diffents house music
groups. As you probably know there is
a long way from Metallica to KLF, but
I like almost all kind of music.

I would like to say thanks to
Shadow/LSD for this interview. Hi to
Chester, Mad Freak and all the rest of
Brainstorm. Also hi to all my great
friends in the scene.

Brainstorm - Don't stop at the top!

end.
