:: Welcome to a new issue of Devious Tools.. ::

:: Hooray.. Hooray.. Tomorrow is my Birthday.. (The 19th). I am now 1 ::
:: year older.. And am I 1 year wiser ?? I don't think so.. After all, ::
:: what does a birthday signify ?? Live ?? Liberation ?? Freedom ?? a ::
:: chance for everyone you know (including yourself) to get totally ::
:: blind rotten drunk ?? Well.. I think it is a bit of all... I believe ::
:: that instead of worshiping fake religious holidays, (or as these days ::
:: superfical), in which you have to buy crap for people you don't even ::
:: like, (al la next week).. I think you should rather celebrate your ::
:: birthday instead.. as it is more inportant than any other day of the ::
:: year. This offcourse dosn't mean that you can't get drunk at the ::
:: "superfical days" (ie, next week) :). Basically what I am saying.. is ::
:: to keep partying on dude!!.. and over the upcoming Christmas break/ ::
:: Holiday... Don't buy anyone anything for Christmas (If you think ::
:: about it.. What is the point??.. Just a massive waste of Money).. and ::
:: just get drunk and/or stoned (Whatever is your preference).. :) ::

:: Also turning 1 Year older, It makes me revise my life.. What and Why ::
:: am doing this ?? (I mean mucking about with the Amiga, and it's ::
:: "underground culture".) Well I don't know.. It just seems routine now ::
:: (And after 165 issues of Devious Tools.... No Wonder).. Also over the ::
:: last few years, the scene (illegal and legal) has been slowly ::
:: getting smaller and smaller.. The days are past when there was real ::
:: fun in waiting to get something in the mail which you were after from ::
:: a contact from overseas.. Or spending heaps of $$$ and time in ::
:: writting to 20 people from the contact pages from heaps of magazines, ::
:: and be happy that you actually recieve 2 replies. Those were the days ::
:: ... So what went wrong ?? Well, basically, Internet killed the mail ::
:: swapper, as you can get stuff now quicker and faster then ever before ::
:: and there is no friendship (par a few instances) left in the scene ::
:: like the old days. Now it seems like that egos rule.. Escpecially ::
:: in the Warez scene.. Thru the spreading of misinformation, and other ::
:: various nasty things.. This is not what the scene is for.. the scene ::
:: is here for fun.. There are only a minority (mainly 1 person - and ::
:: you all should know who it is !! ).. and this minority is making the ::
:: scene die faster.. As they are fucking everyone up.. So that those ::
:: people who are affected are disfranchised from continuing. This is ::
:: a sad state for the scene.. The Scene CAN NOT tolerate any loosers ::
:: who have a detremental effect on the scene.. The scene should shun ::
:: these troublemakers away. As face it, I really would like to enjoy ::
:: the last few years of the scene, and not be subjected to idiots who ::
:: have massive egos (althrough they are pathetic people), and like to ::
:: distrupt everyone else, and act like that there 10 years old. I ::
:: hope people have the guts to tell these people to shut up and get ::
:: fucked.. Althrough this may mean that the troublemakers have a little ::
:: two-year-old tantrum.. So be it.. We have to get rid of these ::
:: trouble makers and make the scene fun again.. Have the scene unity ::
:: feel.. and NOT disunity.. as disunity only will result in a downward ::
:: spiral for the amiga scene into oblivion.. How to make the scene ::
:: fun again ?? (besides to get rid of those nasty troublemakers). Well ::
:: that is impossible to answer.. I think it is all personel here.. If ::
:: you like drawing pictures, or making music, or even code, i think ::
:: what you should do to follow your talents.. Keep trying to get ::
:: recognized, and try to have your production out in the public arena. ::
:: This is what the scene orignally was like.. Everyone trying to be ::
:: better then the last.. People presenting unique ideas. People mostly ::
:: having fun.. It is now into your hand.. if your in a group.. make ::
:: sure that you try to organise something to be released, or an idea ::
:: that you think will make the scene more fun. Do It.. And if you're ::
:: not in a group, try to join one, or start your own, and start ::
:: producing.. This way.. there might be a few more good years in the ::
:: scene left.. Anyway.. keep having fun.. ::
