WELCOME to The Halloween Party held by
AlcatraSH, Silents, Rage and MCS.
The party is located in Skene, just outside
Gothenburg, where we've got the whole school called
'Marks Gymnasieskola' in our hands.
Big Exhibition Halls may have their advantages, but
it's only in a school that you get that real party
feelin'! [RIGHT MOUSE BUTTON TO SCROLL]
And thanx to the low rent, we can offer you the
biggest compo-prizes of this century. For an
example: With as little attendants as 300, we still
can have a first price in the demo-compo of 10000
SEK. And since we don't have this party to make
money, we will ofcourse raise the prizes depending
on the number of attendants: If as many as 1000
people show up at the party we'll have a first prize
of 40000 SEK.(!)
Except this thremendous competition, we'll offer you
all that a big party needs, and a little more...
* In the auditorium we'll have a bigscreen-TV
attached to a professional sound equipment showing
the latest demos and movies 24h/day. And with our
laser-disc you'll get true cinema-feeling with
supreme picture and sound quality.
* The party-cafeteria in which you can buy
chocolates, soft-drinks, chips, disks, etc. will
be open 24 hours a day. And if you get hungry you
can either walk 50 meters to a
hamburger-restaurant or buy cheap pizzas delivered
at the party by a local pizzeria.
* If you want to get freshened up, go to the just
opened swimming-hall around the corner,
approximately 50 meters from the school. Here you
can take a swim, relax in the boubble-pool, visit
the sauna or maybe get a nice tan in the solarium.
* For those of you who wants a good night's sleep;
just visit one of our sleeping-halls, free from
noise and bright lights. Or if you prefer to
sleep next to your equipment at the party, that's
ofcourse allowed...
* No problems finding a parkinglot anymore: In
front of the school there's a huge parkingplace
where you can park your car for free.

GENERAL COMPETITION RULES
-------------------------
* At least one of the competitors must be present at
the party.
* All contributions must be finished.
* The contribution must never have been released
before.
* The deadlines must be respected. Contributions
not delivered in time will be disqualified.
* We reserve the right to spread and copy all
contributions.
* A number of contributions will be selected by a
committee and then shown in the auditorium. Then
it's up to You who wins! (voting)
DEMO COMPETITION RULES
----------------------
* Only one contribution / group.
* Must work on a standard Amiga OS 2.0 (ECS) with 1
Mb Chipmem.
* It must clearly show that it was released at this
party. (i.e in the scroller or textwriter etc..)
* 10 demos will be selected by a committee.
GFX COMPETITION RULES
---------------------
* The picture must be loadable from Deluxe Paint 4.0
* 10 pictures will be selected by a committee.
MUSIC COMPETITION RULES
-----------------------
* The tune must be playable from ProTracker v 3.x Or
else the competitor must provide us with the
required player. (before deadline that is.)
* We only accept pure modules, that means no
exe-files or batchfiles.
* 10 tunes will be selected by a committee.
INTROCOMPETITION RULES
----------------------
* The memory limit is 60 kb
* Must work on a standard Amiga OS 2.0 (ECS) with 1
Mb Chipmem.
* It must clearly show that it was released at this
party. (i.e in the scroller or textwriter etc..)
* 10 intros will be selected by a committee.
ROAD DESCRIPTION
----------------
Here you'll have a full desription how to get to the
party in Skene from the three closest cities:
Gothenburg, Boras and Varberg.
By Car
------
Skene is by R41 between Varberg and Boras.
(And the school lies just beside the R41 too...)
If you're travelling from Boras, then follow the R41
towards Skene (which lies right after Kinna) When
you enter Skene (by crossing a small river), then
follow the road a couple of hundred meters, until
you see 'Marks Gymnasieskola' on the right side of
the street. That's the partyplace! We'll also have
a big sign put up, so you can't miss it.
If you're coming from Varberg (on R41), follow the
road through the centre of Skene and keep driving
until you see a OK Station and a Radio/TV shop 'Stig
Svensson Skene' on the right side of the street.
Then follow the road about a hundred meters, and the
partyplace 'Marks Gymnasieskola' lies on the left
side of the street.
If you're travelling from Gothenburg, then follow
the R156 until you get to Skene. Then take left and
follow the R41 in the direction of Kinna. Follow
the road through the centre of Skene. Keep driving
until you see a OK Station and a Radio/TV Shop 'Stig
Svensson Skene' on the right side of the street.
Then follow the road about a hundred meters, and the
partyplace 'Marks Gymnasieskola' lies on the left
side of the street.
By Bus
------
We recommend you to take bus 104 (from
Boras/Varberg) or 300 (from Gothenburg). Get off at
the 'Marks Gymnasium' bus-stop which lies on the R41
between Skene and Kinna. Ask the busdriver to tell
you when you're there. The school lies just a
hundred meters from the bus-stop. (you see it
clearly..)
By Train
--------
Take train 104 ('Viskadalsbanan' between Boras and
Varberg) and get off at the 'Assbergs hallplats'.
(between Kinna and Skene) After that follow the
street until you get to a big road (R41). On the
other side of the road lies the partyplace, 'Marks
Gymnasieskola'. (You see it clearly...) By the
way.. It's not very far from the train-stop to the
school, so you shouldn't have any trouble carrying
your stuff.
COMPETITION PRIZES
------------------
We are proud to introduce you to a whole new
competition-prize-system.
Instead of promising too high or maybe too low
prizes we have developed a chart in which you can
see how big the prizes will be depending on the
number of attendants.
And the best of all is that this party isn't going
to make any profit: All the money will go to
compo-prizes!
