 Has HAM8 to be slow?

Some people think that it is impossible to
move a 256000 Color Picture as smooth 
over your screen as the for example the
           Mousepointer...



  Others still believe that noone can do 
  stunning Effects with HAM8-Pictures on
          unaccelerated Amigas
