This BBS had an official name which had not been publicized and didn't figure in common lists circulating to advertise other bulletin board systems. After his sysop Hannibal was busted by the French police (Brigade des Recherches de Paris), this board was directly located in their Paris XVI district HQ at Bd Exelmans in a special small room dedicated to this. Each modem seized after a new bust served as a new node for the BBS which number had ringdown. There were piles of USR HST modems next to the computer. According to one of the cops there was a sniffer to identify and locate people using the bluebox. It is unknown how many people were busted in the Bluebox affair because of using this BBS. Most of the elite sceners from famous groups did not go there and were caught because people already busted gave names in exchange for freedom. Hannibal, on his side, was a famous cracker at The Replicants on Atari ST before getting an Amiga.
