<<<_Sound Vision_by_Reflect_>>> Chaos: Well, they made a really good smear-effect: looks great, is great. The Vectorworld is really good, too! There were a lot of other nice effects in this demo, so I think this is one of the best this year. Graphics: ugly Sound: so la la Design: none Effects: great smear, nice Vectorworld. New, good Idea: For the first time, a really good and fast smear effect: Congratulations, you really made an important improvement to an effect! Overall: good Dr.Jekyll: This demo features a not too good design. The colour-combination in the intro, for instance, looks terrible. A pity, since the coding is very good. The fractal-landscape is nice, and so is the precalulated vector-globe. The music fits the demo rather well, and is the first tune we have ever heard from Jellybean. The graphics are unfortunately not the best, and could easily have been improved. Not a bad demo, which proves that Reflect has got some good coders, but the graphics and design let the overall impression down. That one is one of my favourites. As I saw the demo I was quite astonished by the effects. That one has really the best coding of all 10 demos. The design is not so well but Zeque showed up with a lot of really great-looking effects. The music and the gfx were not as good as the coding was , something they must improve. The best effects are the Vector-City and his Fractal calculation routine which is extremely fast.He proved that shadebobs are not the only things that can be run with a shade effect (although he used shadebobs too). This demo runs with a a small bug on A3000. Laxity: Hmmm... Well, this demo is actually perhaps the hardest to judge. It seems Reflect have some rather skilled coders, yet the design? Well, let's say: timing, please! (boring!). The graphics are probably the worst part in this demo, untalented and instimulating in every way. Either the music is some kind of E.T. entertainment equipment, so that it might pass my delicate ear, or else it's just something that slipped out my sensitive ass last night. In fact, the only thing that keeps me from giving this demo negative points on a scale from 1-10, is the code. Reviewer's comment: "Hmmmm... Naaah!" Zeque: This is our demo, but I'll comment on it anyway. The main routines - Globe, Shadowed World, and Fractal Landscapes - are rather cool, and some of the other parts have some kick, too. The music and GFX are good, although not excellent. Design doesn't exist, if not that we decided to leave all boring text screens out. To be frank, I never expected Sound Vision to be this popular. Hannibal: Although I had never heard of this group before, it is really a nice demo. Especially the shade-intro and the lightsourced landscape is great, but the other effects are nice, too. The pictures are nice, and the tunes are just perfect for this demo. The design could be a little better, and a few of the effects should be let out, but all in all a really nice demo.
