<<<_Delirium by Complex_>>> Zeque Great vector's, but we saw them in Tai Pan's "Vector Preview". Also some are even too "complex", 3-4 frames per second is too slow. The Zoomlens and plasm are a bit lonely, this demo definitely needs more routines. A big minus for not working with my A1000. Chaos: First he shows us some interference-effects. Although it's a nice idea to use the shadebob-technique to get interference-effects, he should take a look at the old Mesmerized demo from PMC. You can get the same effect by using normal interference-techniques. Cocy is still the only one who ever made a good-looking interference effect. Well, this has nothing to do with good code, it's only selecting a nice palette. Now we see a zoomlens, just like the old Wild-Copper-Demo (1986), but more advanced. Well, not bad. Perhaps it's just because I like M.C. Escher... Next is another Vector Preview, but I prefer Tai Pans, because his routine is faster and his objects MUCH better, just think about his brilliant Submarine. Graphics: Great Logo! Sound: oh no! Design: none Effects: good Vectors, nice Zoomlens, but nothing new or sensational. Overall: good Dr.Jekyll: This is not a big trackmo which features lots of routines. Neither is it the first demo with the name "Delirium", since both Fraxion and Zero Defects have released demos with the same name before. Anyway, the introduction is simple, but looks OK. The coding is in general good (though the vector-part is quite boring), and so is the music. When it comes to the graphics, we can say that the logos are very good, but that doesn't go for the white-font. The design is smooth, but nothing special. And the flickering-bugs should of course have been removed. All in all, a good demo which in our opinion is a bit teeth-less. Wayne: I think the main part of this demo is the vector part. His vector routine is nice but similar looking routines have been seen in Odyssey although I don`t believe that the routines in Odyssey are realtime calculated. The design is not so good and the music gets boring after a while. The Complex-Logo above the interference effect is really good painted. The interference effect itself looks nice. The demo crashes on turboboards and OS2.0 ,so this receives some point substraction. Laxity: Well, well... Here we have the typical demo, stunning code, yet LOOOOOOUUUSYYYY design. God, how it stinks! I hope this will be the last of it's kind ever, but then, wishes do not tend to be granted, do they? As always in Complex demoes, the graphics are just as stunning as the code usually is, but it won't do you any good, if the timing and design are as low down average as in this demo. The music sounds like a piano in a blender, mixed with a little moaning and jammed trumpets, yachh! Reviewer's comment: "This'd better be the last!" Saviour: Well... what can I say... It's ok I suppose. It was done in a very big hurry! and I "finished" it when I was drunk... remember the enterprise object? I kinda forgot the bar between the hull and the saucer.. heh.. the designer of the objects didn't quite like it..
