Anarchy - 3D Demo II
I can't understand
why this demo doesn't top the one-file chart yet. It
contains a brilliant soundtrack, many good pictures and some really
awesome routines like the dotlandscape, vector-scroll and vector-plots.
And as important is it's good design and speed. The best one-file demo
ever made!

<<<_3D_DEMO_II by Anarchy_>>>

Chaos:
This demo is filled to the top with every kind of
vector-crap you have seen in all the other demos too. But there are two
exceptions:

The transforming dot sphere is fantastic. Ok, the idea is stolen from
another polnish demo (I can remember the name, it was something polnish,
the group was Alchemy, and they made 2048 dots, Hey, Vico, please contact
me!). It was released at the same polnish copyparty I mentioned before,
and it made the second place. Strange isn't it?

The second good effect is the vectorworld (or better vectorspace). As far
as I know, it is the first Vectorworld with 3d-Movements, and the first one
with real complicated vectoreffects (no simple objects). You can see
almost everything Hannibal ever made (Perhaps he should have included a
dot-sphere...)

One of the worst development in the scene is the stupidity of graphicians.
Why do almost all of them copy other pictures from books and covers, and
why do they always paint pictures from Boris? I hate to see allways the
same Dragons with allways the same naked ladys. I can't understand what
the fun in copying pixels, are you doing it just for the fame? Is it worth
all the time? I'm in the scene to do something NEW and CREATIVE. It's a
nice feeling to be in the charts (just imagine me reading Stolen Data
#10...), but I woun't sacrifice my own needs for it. Well, Slash has made
a small step in the right direction by naming the original artist at least
for some of his pictures. Perhaps he did it because everybody recognises
Gigers style anyway...

Graphics:_very good

Sound:_not so good

Design:_he tried

Effects:_fabulous Dotsphere, great vectorworld, many other things.

Overall:_Super.

Dr.Jekyll:
The stunning part of this demo was the music.
Mad Freak has done a really good job! Even though the design isn't
exceptional (an effect fades down, a new one fades up etc.), we think it is
a good demo, save from some drawbacks: The Plasmapart and the ENDPART -
which were truely horrible! But don't get us wrong. We think it is a good
demo with good graphics, music, but not so innovative routines (an
exeception is the very nice dot-landscape).

Wayne Mendoza:
This demo contains some great gfx and nice
coding. The effects were not new but were nice-looking and that is what
counts. One of my favourite pictures was "The Portal" it remembered me at
something...but I still do not exactly know at what...8).The dot routine
looked cool but I have seen it before in "Alchemy", however with some less
points. The music is a bit crazy, I think, but nice. Unfortunately the demo
refuses to run on turboboards.

Laxity:
Finally, it is here. The continuation of the 3D
Demo from 1991. Although many people| had profetized that it would be
entitled 4D Demo, it's actual name IS 3D Demo II!!

Okay, back to reality, I have to admit that I didn't like 3D Demo part 1.
It was bad designed, too much crap and stuff. But now it seems Handyball
and his Candyballs have learned something, though I am still trying to
figure out why the demo only runs with 1MB chip?! (precalc?)

There is no doubt, Hansibald is a good coder, design and manners are OK!
Graphics? Well, quite nice, nothing special, actually. Slask, please
don't flip totally into this Metallica-bunch-o-crap style, it isn't worth
it! Ok, I cannot wait any longer... the music is SOOOO great! I spent
hours and hours just speeding around in the box of lost vectorshit,
enjoying madman's music, right till my neighbour came in and asked me to
put something else on. If you haven't heard it, DO IT!

Reviewer's comment: "Freak!"

Lone Starr:
Yeah! Funny, Strange design. I don't like the music, but I know many do. Quite
fast routines and very nice graphics.

Hannibal:
THE BEST!! Or is it? Well, I will try to be honest, and judge this
correctly, although it is quite hard. As coder, you always come to hate
your own productions (or am I the only one, who hates them?). Well, to
start with the bad things. There were spread a 1MB chip version of the
demo at the party, because we ran out of time to finish it. Write to Lord
Helmet to get the final 512K chip, 512k fast version. Also write if you
have 1MB chip, because some bugs are fixed, and a secret part is added. As
you can see, it is a demo finished at the party, so it doesn't look that
nice in i.e. design. The first time you hear the music you hate it, but
as time passes by, you might learn to like it. The graphics: As usual
J.A.D,E. (ex-Slash) is doing great graphics, and this demo has A LOT of
it. Although it is a one-part demo, there is more than 1/2 megabyte of
graphics. The code: Well, as in many demos, there are good things and bad
things. I will let you decide what is what yourself, but I like my
transforming dot-sphere, and that's about it. And I know, what you are
about to say: The vectorspace is UGLY.
