@t2,19@^@f09@t8@cGRAPEVINE @f00 @t7ISSUE REVIEWED - #11 PRODUCER - LSD @t8 PRESENTATION @t1Grapevine combines a slick and glossy title picture by Fish with functional and pleasant icons and panel graphics. The actual magazine is designed well, helpful function icons make the magazine simple and easy to use. Colours and fonts are a little sparse giving the magazine a 'static' overall look, better to be simple than outragous I suppose! The articles could be a little tidier, maybe the uneven right hand text border is to fault, a 'newspaper-style' text with @^ two staight borders would give the magazine a much smarter appearence I think. @t8CONTENT @t1It's massive and diverse content are what makes Grapevine stand out. The amount individual articles is quite impressive, scene articles only cover about twenty percent of the magazine as a whole though, so people who only like to read scene-related topics may soon get bored. Other comparable magazines, when featuring non-scene related topics usualy only have one article on a poarticular topic. Gparevine is different. You get massive sections of 'limited-interest' topics such a Roll @#@t2,19@^playing/Board games, etc. Most of the articles are written by U.K guys, and it shows, so some things may not appeal to a wide European readership, but I can't realy comment non-U.K taste. Basicly Grapevine #11 gives you the biggest and most diverse content of any comparable magazine. One article I noticed as being a little odd though was a 'History of E.L.O' (The revived 70 pop/rock group), the article was credited to a certain guy (who's name I won't mention) yet half of the text was copied from the back of an E.L.O compilation album (Without credit or mention of the author). @t8OVERALL @t1Grapevine impresses once again. A huge amount of diverse subjects to sink into, and thoughful functions make using the magazine as easy to use as @^possible. There are one or two presentation points that could improve the magazines overall appearence and more editors from outside the U.K would undoubtably increase the magazines international credibility and reputation for being slightly 'U.K only'. @t8 86/100 @@
