Interview with 
   ANEX of REBELS

 CA: OK ANEX!  It's 19h10 and the party
    is  going  better  now!   So, as I
    just  caught you from this hord of
    lamers, present  yourself  to  the
    McDisk readers!



 AR: Well  CONQUEST!   My  real name is
    Philippe  and  I'm  18  years old.
    I'm   graphician   in  the  french
    section of REBELS since two months
    now.   I  started to draw on AMIGA
    one  year  ago,  and I jumped into
    the    scene    when    I   joined
    ATLANTYS...      Everybody    must
    remember our first production:  It
    was  a slide show with gfx from me
    and HOF!


 CA: Why did you decide to join REBELS?

 AR: Well,  there  was a lack of coders
    in my old group...  It isn't worth
    drawing  hard  when  you know that
    the  gfx will never be released in
    demos!   Then  REBELS  is  a world
    famous group!


 CA: Can  you speak about your projects
    at least in the french section?

 AR: We're  working  on a new dentro at
    the  moment and then we'll release
    a trackmo but I can't say anything
    about the spreading dates!


 CA: What can you say about the rumours
    saying  that  foreign  sections of
    REBELS got problems?

 AR: I  know that many guys left us and
    that  new  ones  joined.   I think
    that  the  guy  we're  missing too
    much is HEATBEAT!


 CA: Ok!    Thank   you  for  answering
    this...    I'm   sure   that  many
    readers  noticed  that you like to
    draw  dudes  from COMICS.  Can you
    speak a bit about this fact?

 AR: Yes,of   course!    Most   of  the
    examples   are   taken  in  AKIRA,
    SLAINE    and    in    mags   like
    DUNGEONS'N'DRAGONS or CASUS BELLI.
    But  I  also  use  my imagination,
    that's  exactly  what I did in ATS
    slide show.
      

 CA: Which artists do you appreciate on
    the AMIGA?

 AR: I've  just  seen  some  pics  from
    FLETCH  of  TSB Fr.  and I enjoyed
    them very much!


 CA: I agree with you!  His style is as
    good as UNO's or WALT's one!

 AR: Yes,  he  can  be at the top right
    now!  I think that MACK of SCOOPEX
    Fr.   is  a  great gfxer too, like
    RACK of MAJIC 12 and MITHRANDIR of
    AGILE!   WALT is a good graphician
    too,   but   he  can  behave  very
    strange  sometimes.  And I'll also
    speak   about  my  friend  HOF  of
    REBELS, whose artwork I enjoy very
    much.


 CA: Did  you get any propositions from
    game companies?

 AR: I've  heard that guys were looking
    for graphicians in order to make a
    game,  but it's not one of my main
    interest at the moment!
      

 CA: Hehe!  That's cool!  What are your
    favourite demos?  Can you tell the
    readers why?

 AR: One   of   my   favourite  is  the
    "DENTRO?    MENTRO?   DEMO?"  from
    your  old  group,  SILENTS FRANCE!
    The  design  was really amazing to
    my  mind!  I think that the MENTAL
    HANGOVER  from  SCOOPEX,  although
    it's quite old, is still awesome!


 CA: OK!    Let's   speak   about  your
    private  life  if  you don't mind!
    What  kind  of music and movies do
    you enjoy?

 AR: About   musics:    I   like   DIRE
    STRAITS,   LENNY   KRAVITZ,   PINK
    FLOYD.   About  movies:  I enjoyed
    TERMINATOR  2,  WILLOW, ROBIN HOOD
    and INDIANA JONES.

      
 CA: Well that's quite normal!  Oops...
    It's  quite  noisy  here,  so I'll
    finally ask you if you`re enjoying
    this party.
      
 AR: It would have been better if there
    were  less  people in it or if the
    party place was bigger!
