M.O.N'S REACTION

-------------------------------

Organized and edited by Axel of BRAINSTORM, written by Oistein Eide of MON.

Since we wanted to know what Oistein Eide of MANIACS OF NOISE is thinking about Tip and Mantronix's words, we simply asked him to write about that what he thinks of the statements that have been put up against him. Here is what he wants to tell the scene:

Forgive me readers. Forgive me for boring you with another article about MON. But it is time to handle the irrelevant crap that two amateurs has brought upon me.
Ironic. Quite amusing I'd say. Martin Wall (Mantronix) and Robert Ling (Tip) haven't even been working for MON. Not legally. Now that they realize they have been framed, they are fumbling empty handed in the dark. Poor children, trying to uphold their pride. Quite amusing. The fact is that these two pathetic Swedes are so envy that they need each other to be able to express their agressions. I've got four synthesizers of my own. They both dream of the same, and so they have said. Unfair it may be, but going pu~ blic with irrelevant crap? A simple action. I'm nothing but another crap musician. But I am in control of myself. I know my way around. Neither Martin or Robert does. I could leave them freezing out in the cold. Sue them for defamation. Or even worse. Perhaps I will? Still I, unlike the two children, won't take simple actions, without a damn good reason. But they are stupid enough to give me one. Poor Martin. He just couldn't understand how I could sue a 'simple school-boy', such as he called himself. So pathetic. The poor child does not understand that there are laws for students.
Now they have 'left' MON and 'joined' Sonic Projects. I laugh. I am more than certain that they haven't even got listed up at the company. That is if Sonic Projects is a real company. No disrespect to Sonic Projects. Many talented people work for the company. Still I can not help but laugh at the two musicians. Now they want to tell people that I am a fool, and so is the company I work for. MON is nothing. So they say. Amusing.
As for MON. I have been working for the company since 1990. During that time, I have earned more money than I needed. Mostly on music for video-projects and things much alike. Synthesiz'-music in other words. MON has been very quiet on the computer side for a long time. So what? I have allready written that MON goes beyond computer-music. Far beyond. So Martin and Roert says MON has gone down the drain. MON is nothing? They haven't even got enough equipment to handle a radio-jingle properly. My income is ve~ry strong. Again, perhaps unfair. Still I have only MON to thank for my income. So MON is nothing? Fools. Even now, after a while of silence, MON will go back to work, doing computer-music. I'll be working on more than ten projects before fall. After fall, it is time for even more projects. Why? I enjoy the challange. Writing music on the Amiga is a challange. What is the Amiga compared to the world of 16-bit PCM? Besides, it's good money. Plenty of hard work. A challange.
Martin and Robert doesn't know a thing about laws. Not even copy~right-laws. Martin told me just how stupid I was to claim I hold the copyright of my samples. When I sample a sound from a Korg synthesizer, it isn't mine, it's Korg's. So he says. Fool. He is wrong, again. It is correct that the company holds the copyright to the 16-bit samples in their synthesizers. But when I reprogram the sound-data, and then re-sample the sound from 16-bit to 8-bit, it is I who hold the copyright of the sample. Korg did not sample it, I did. And for those of you who thinks that is my opinion, think again. It is the law. I checked. Once again, Mar~ tin is left out in the cold.
I wish to take this opportunity to apologize aswell. I'm not perfect. Not at all. I used to have this very foolish ego. I thougt I was the best. I'm not. Not at all. Please do forigve me for my foolish act. Honest I am. Martin Wall and Robert Ling are talented musicians, but fools. I have got my feet back on the ground. They have just taken off.

Thank you!
