³Q:² Could you present your self?

³A:¹   I'm  Coconuts  of  Iris.   I'm  coder and swapper.  I'm 19 years old.  I'm
studying  electronix.   My  car  is  an  Austin Mini.  My hobbies are pingpong,
girls, drinks and of course Amiga.

³Q:² Please tell us your amiga story and something about your group.

³A:¹   Firstly,  I was in U.S.A., a lame french group, as coder.  There were some
cool  guys (Tony/DRB, The Thing/Starline Inc.).  Then, in november 1990, I went
to  Phoenix  which was bad organised and a lot of members were too lazy.  (Only
one  cool  guy Alex/Agile.).  So, since the third week of September, I'm member
of Iris.

³Q:² What is the history of Iris?
³A:¹   Iris  was  created  in  april  1989.  Then the group grew slowly, we got a
norvegian  and  a finish section.  We did some demos.  In December 1990, it was
our  first  party  and  in  december  1991,  it will be our second party (27-28
december, near Paris)

³Q:² Your scene: history and some news

³A:¹   At  the  beginning of November 1989, I bought my Amiga because a friend of
mine (SPH) had it and he showed me some programs (Beast) so I ripped up.  I was
really  lamer,  about  50 disks with more than 100 games a week.  I was quickly
fed up.  So I started to code, first in basic, but it was too difficult, then I
started  Asm.   I  coded  the  USA tune disk.  I used a routine of Funx.  I was
boosted,  insulted  on  the french minitel because of this, but it's for this I
came  into  Phoenix.   For  Phoenix, I coded two menus and a demo (Sinus copper
demo)

³Q:² Who are the best in your country?

³A:¹ For me, the best are:           Dream Dealers -> Megademo II
                                   Silents       -> Ice
                                   Rebels        -> Cool packs

³Q:² Send us some details about your group (projects, work, members)

³A:¹   Well,  I  prepare a tune disk of Depeche Mode, the Latexia pack, and other
things.   From  other members some tune disks and others which are Top Secret!!
Iris is really cool group.

³Q:² What do you think about the actual world scene?

³A:¹   At  this  moment,  the  scene  is in full development, a lot of groups are
growing up and some new ideas appeared.

³Q:² Do you think that there is too much disk mags?

³A:¹  Yes.  For me the best mags are:  Zine, Eurochart, Hack Mag and Top Secret.
³Q:² Do you have already write articles for a disk mag if not say us why??

³A:¹ No, nobody asked me to write articles.

³Q:² Send me the date of this interview and some actualities... events which have
intrested you or shock you.

³A:¹   Made on October the 19th 1991.  The events which have intrested me are the
creations   of   TSB   France   and  Rebels  France  and  the  imprisonment  of
Tagada/Quartex.
