Treacl Interview - page 1/5
Author: Scooter/Armageddon

This Interview was held by Scooter of
Armageddon on Friday, 31.08.1991.....ˆ

Sc: Hi Axel! Please introduce yourself
    (name, age, activity...).
Ax: O.K., I am Axel of Treacl and I am
18 years old. I am working as a
    swapper in Treacl.

Sc: What are you doing at the moment,
    are you going to school?
Ax: No, I'm not. At the moment I work
    as an industry-mechanic.

Sc: So you'll never have problems with
    having enough money?!
Ax: Yes, that's right.

Sc: For how long do you own a computer?
Ax: Since February '88 I had a C-64(!)
and since November '89 I own an
    Amiga!!!

Sc: What were your activities on the
C-64, have you been in the scene?
Ax: I only cracked some games, but I
was no member of the scene...

Sc: How had you cracked them and was it
    difficult to do?
Ax: Oh, I used the "Action Replay MK5"
    and it was really simple.

Sc: Really interesting. So tell us
which hardware are you using today?
Ax: I own an Amiga 500, Philips Monitor
    CM8833, 3.5" and 5.25" external
drive, Action Replay II and 1MB.

Sc: OK, but now let's change the topic.
    It became really silent around
Treacl, so did you all become
    spiritless or what has happend?
Ax: I think we didn't. At the moment
we don't release very much, except
some packs, like my "Dream Pack" or

    Greboman's "Drunken Datas", but
    don't worry!

Sc: How many members does Treacl have?
Ax: At the moment Treacl has 21 German
    and 2 Finnish members.

Sc: Could you give us a memberlist?
Ax: Of course. Let's start:

    founders of Treacl?
Ax: Treacl was founded in 1989. The
main founders are Ivan & Sly (at
that time he was called Shadow).

Sc: But now tell us your favourite:

                 with Bacardi! he,he)

    9) Coder : Slayer/Scoopex
    10)Sounder : Jester/Sanity

Sc: What do you think about modem-
    trading?
Ax: I think it's fast and good but as
    I don't own a modem I can't tell
    very much about it.

Sc: If you could wish you 3 things,
    what would it be?
Ax: Oh, funny. Aeh I think to have much
money, a lovely woman and a cool
    house is the right answer.

Sc: O.K. I hope you will get it! But
    now let's go on...

Sc: If you compare the German scene
with the rest of Europe, what do
    you say?
Ax: Well, easy to say, the Scandinavian
    groups are the best demogroups!
They have great coders and many
    good releases.
In Germany, toooo many bad demos
were released!! The best in FRG are
    D-TECT with their HACK-MAG and
    Cytax with their I.C.E.!

Sc: For sure you have an interesting
point of view. But now let's change
the topic. Have you ever faked your
    stamps?
Ax: Yes of course, but now it's too
dangerous and so I stopped with
    these things.

Sc: Do you own any pirate stuff?
Ax: Yes, about 300 disk full with games
I am not a gamefreak, but I sell
    them...

Sc: Have you ever had any problems with
    the police?
Ax: Yes, but not because of the games.

Sc: Would you tell us why?
Ax: Sorry, but I don't want to talk
    about it.

Sc: I think it's O.K. How much time do
you spend infront of your computer?
Ax: I think 4 hours a day.

Sc: What do you think about parties?
Ax: I love all kinds of parties (copy-
    parties and normal ones). Because
there I meet my friends and con-
    tacts etc.

Sc: O.K., then tell us the best party
    you've ever visited.
Ax: I think the Dexion X-Mas Conference
in Odense, because it was great
    organized.

Sc: What was the party with the longest
    distance from your hometown?
Ax: Not easy to say, but it ought to be
    the Maximum Pleasure Party in
    Luxemburg.

Sc: O.K., What do you think about the
    Friendship-movement?
Ax: A really important question I think
and I can say that only some of my
    contacts are really good friends,
like Shadow of L.S.D. etc. So you
can see that not all guys are
    interested in getting friends....

Sc: O.K. now it's time to end. Have you
    anything to say?
Ax: Yes, don't forget to come to our
    Copy-Party on 16/17 November 1991!
Greetings to all contax and friends

Sc: Alright, thanks for having time and
