COPPER DEMO II by The Hacking Relation!

Copper demos seem to be back as the new
fashion.  Recently I've seen several of
these,  some good and some not so good. 
This is one of the better. Since I'm no
coder,  all I can do is to be amazed at
these demos, surely the copper can only
be splitted in 8 pixels?  My  guess  is
that  they do the same with the coppers
as with sinescrollers.....  Then again, 
it's only a guess!  Well, this demo did
not contain  any action apart from some
beautiful colour-patterns. The graphics
were very sparse and the music was very
nice.  When  I heard it I couldn't help
thinking of a song called  'Blue Stars'
which was made  by  Time Traveller  and
myself  and  released at the invitation
demo for our  easterparty in Drammen in
March this year.  Anyway, the sound was
catchy and  instantly  enjoyable.  This
demo was also said to be the first demo
splitting the copper in 1 pixel.  It is
obvious  that  a  few  tricks have been
pulled to make such effects. Still, it 
is jolly nice to watch. In my opinion, 
this  demo  is one of the best copper- 
demos I've seen.

- THR  seem  to be quite a new name in 
the UK scene,  at  least they're quite 
new to me.  Anyway,  they've  got good 
coders  and  good  musicians  and they 
could  quickly establish themselves as 
one of the  top  UK  demogroups.  They 
seem  to  have  the  correct  attitude 
towards the scene. I would like to see 
some  demos  from  them containg other 
things than copper though.  That would 
make it easier to judge their quality.
