BOUNTY CONFERENCE'90 IN HORSENS/DK
----------------------------------

After a long trip of 13 hours, we arrived to the partyplace held in a school. The party started at 18:00 and only a few freaks were present. In fact most of them were lamers (you know those childrens coming to parties only to play silly games). Times passed and some cool crews showed up: Silents, Flash, Kefrens, Crionics, Brain Wave, Direct. But as you can see it is really a few number. Besides, 90% of the freaks were coming from Denmark! Except some seldom german and norvegian guys. And of course French guys from Brain Wave and DGSA (a new french group). The organisation was not too bad. Enough space to sleep in. Also there was a Video Room showing the latest movies. A food and drink shop was inside the party place. Also a big supermarket was at about 50 meters from the party place. So congratulations to Bounty for the nice organisation. What is worth beeing noticed is that there were NO drunk people! But the negative point is that a member of Bounty didn't want Angels to make some modemtrading!
Here is a list of the present groups:
Silents, Goonies, Mirror, Brain Wave, DGSA, Kefrens, Direct, Barricade, D-TECT, Deadlock, Cult DK, Static Bytes, Q-Branch, Rebels, Treacl, Crionics, Angels, Robbisoft, Upfront,...
A Kick-off competition has been organized. This was a nice idea. But it was only a Danish Cup (certainly not a World-cup!).
The Democompetition was not arranged like the other ones with a large screen and all the freaks watching for 3 hours the demos and voting. About 20 groups entered the democomp. Here's the results:
 1.Crionics Demo (won 5000DKR)
 2.Kefrens (2000DKR)
 3.Upfront Megademo (1000DKR)
 4.Triangle
 5.Flash Production
 6.Q-Branch
 7.Anexius
 8.Static Bytes
 9.Goonies
10.Brain Wave Demo
11.Asperity Megademo
12.Falcons Demo
A demo spreading service was set up to copy the ranked demos. If you compare this party to the recent TSL_RSI Conference, you can say without doubt that this party is very lame. But I would say it was just an average party.

PS: This report was written just after I was back in France, therefore I was really tired...

This is a Party-report about the# Bountyparty in Horsens, Denmark
   31/8-2/9-90 written by
      Hawkeye of ACID

When we (me and a friend of mine arrived at the party there were already a lot of people there. We paid the 60 DKR and found a place to be. Then we looked a bit around and found a little shop and a video-room. It was a little place but big enough for the 150 freak which were at the party. About 1 hour later the rest of ACID came and we put up the Amigas (it was forbidden to bring other computers). At this time 3/4 of the rooms where packed up with boys (there were no girls !?!?) We worked to the video-room and watched some of the great films: Die Hard 2, Gremlins 2, Hunt for Red October, Recall and a LOT of Porno-films. It was really great. You could swap or buy the movies for 50 DKr each.
The groups which were present: Deadlock, Direct, Acid, Bounty, Kefrens, Crionics, Cheyens, Goonies 2041, Upfront, Cult DK, Brainwave French div, Flash Produktions, Silents, Q-branch, Falcons, Trade (Relax), Static Bytes, Ascension, Nike Force, Triangle, Treacl, Los Amigos, Paradox and some other which i can't remember (sorry). Some went to sleep but other were painting or trying to finish there d-mos. But I didn't think anyone did get much sleep.
Next day, some people went home and some others came. The most freaks were very tired except the ones who had slept. (Ofcourse). That day was the Kick Off Competition-day. It costed 2 empty disks to compete. The winner would get 80% of all disks + a Kick Off T-shirt and a Kick Off Poster. The second one would get 20% of the diks + a Kick Off T-shirt + a Kick Off Poster (i think). But after the competition (wich were hold in a closed room there is nothing more to write about that day).
But there isn't anything important to write about that day. Then it was sunday. The demo- competition-day. At 9.30 everybody walked down to the video-room. But first after 30-45 minutes everything was ready. All the demos were shown and we all voted. (I think).
The winners were:
#1 Crionics
#2 Kefrens
#3 Upfront

Their prices were 5000 DKR to the best 2000 DKR to the 2nd and 1000 DKR to the 3th.
Then it was about 12.00 and most people packed and went off.
There were Not many new games on the party but it didn't matter... it was quite fun anyway. I also think that the party was very good arranged and there were no drunk people which destroyed the party...
