Hi, guys from PowerDrive! It is now 4.03 am and we're at the Silents-Red Sector Party. Vision Factory and Fairlight are boozing around and we're gonna ask some questions to Ralph 124C41+ of PD.

³-When was PowerDrive founded?
¹PowerDrive was founded in December 1988 when the members of Castor Cracking Group (on the Spectrum and C64) all had got themselves Amigas. Our first release was a three parted demo called "Computers in control".

³-What's your age and position in PowerDrive?
¹Well, I'm 19 years old and I'm the lamer of the group. I'm also the SysOp of our Swedish HQ BBS. Apart from that I ocationally try to organize the group. Some people call me the leader and they're right!

³-Tell us about the composition of PowerDrive.
¹Members of PowerDrive are:
Ralph 124C41+: Organizing, SysOp. Heradotos: Coding and electronics freak. Sonix - Music. Ramlosa, Hyperion, Biz - Swapping. Down, Rubycon, Gargamel - Coding. Charles, Ed - Graphics. Mike - Coding and Swapping.

³-We didn't hear too much about you group in the last weeks/months.
¹Yes, we're working on our MegaDemo so we haven't released any demos lately. But we have made a few compacts and ofcourse the swapping goes on as normal.

³-What's your plans for the near future?
¹Our MegaDemo of course and both Sonix and Hyperion will open BBSes. And I will start brewing my beer (the strongest beer north of Denmark).

³-Where do you come from?
¹Most of us live somewhere around Stockholm with some other all over Sweden. Then we have Mike who lives in Swizerland.

³-What about this party? You met with a lot of cool chaps didn't you?
¹Yeah, I think this party is one of the best I've ever been to. And I have met surprisingly many old friends here.

³-Okay, I'm very thirsty right now... I think you gonna offer me some drinks...
¹No, I don't think so. I've finished all the beer by myself. (burp)

³-Will PD(!) take part in the democompetition although your coder were playing all the day?
¹No, we save the good demos for the MegaDemo and there's no ide to compete with a demo that have zillo chance of winning. We'll probably release my silly party demo but since I was drunk when I coded the sprites and I'm drunk now I don't think it's a good idea to try...

³-Will you open some sections in Middle-Europe (Suisse, Italia, France,... )?
¹We have a member in Swizerland but that's quite far from a section. But if there are some who are interested, why not?

³-I see you are dead-drunk... which beer do you drink?
¹I've just finished a bottle of Flensburger Pils (donated to the "Keep Ralph drunk society" by Paradise and Level 4). But normaly I prefer beers like Carnegie Porter, Guinness, Kaiserdom Edel... but Kronenbourg is nice too... Yes, fuckin french beer like 1664!

³-What do you think about group wars?
¹If they really mean what they say it's of course not very funny, but I think warring will go away when they mature.

³-Does it mean that groups such as Quartex haven't reached maturity?
¹Yep, it's childish to have wars over such tiny matters.

³-What do you think about Storm's attitude?
¹They still haven't proved to be "the fucking best"...

³-Any last words?
¹Be cool, if you can't be cool, be cold... cool... fuckin cool... we are goin to drink something now,...
