Hi Xcluzive! Almost all sceners
(not only ascii artist) have heared
about "Xcz" and even some of them
knows that it means Xcluzive... but
not the whole scene knows anything
more about you. Would you like to
say something more about yourself?

xcluzive:
I'm a Swede, on my twentyfirst year
and I own a p133/lotsa which is the
machine I work with nowadays. I
also have my 'drawingtool' - this
a1200/2/1gig which really aint used
for anything else than ascii-art. I
dont use computers that much anyhow,
like to surf the net on my pentium
sometimes, but thats quite much it.
My hobbies are skydiving, inlines,
fat sthlm/indoor-parties 'n screwing
around with gal's.

raptor:
Yes, that's present, but could you
say something also about your past
in the ascii scene?

xcluzive:
Back in 1993, when I and Slab sat
gathered close to his a500's monitor
we used to get impressed by the art
we found at 2k4-systems like Techno
BBS and the nice add's by guys like
Sk!n, Mb, sc and 7M. We used
WorkBench1.3's Edit-program to do
our own logos and when it reached
20k we created our own asciiclan
Woozy and proudly released it that
summer back in 1993. So, guess I've
been around since spring '93. Why
did I do it? The insperation that
others gave me and my will to try it
out.

raptor:
Since this early 1993 in how many
groups have you been ??? Could you
say us also something about your
current group Save Our Souls ???

xcluzive:
I've mostly been within as
ascii-artist or graphician, and the
groups are; Access, DD·Style, Dzain,
EuphoriaDemo, Fatal Unity, Puzzle &
Shoot.

I created Save Our Souls in early
August 1994 since I was dissapointed
with the ascii-groups that existed
by then. Was only about 10% of how
many there are now. S.o.s. ascii
has been active ever since then,
with a total of about 110 releases,
and all together 31 members. I'm
also more or less within the
following scene-groups; Data
Division& Prospect, Hellfire, Stile,
Euphoria, DuckSquad &
Sockeplastgänget.

raptor:
Wooh! Save Our Souls have been
realy productive group - 110
releases and together 31 members.
Many ascii groups would like also
say the same nice words about
them-selfs... but how many ascii
collection have you done ???

xcluzvie:
With my latest, Caffeine Coolection
(Sos-Cuff.Txt) there is a total of
fiftysix (56) coolections which
together is more than seven (7)
Meg's of pure ascii.

raptor:
Propably you are one of the best old
school ascii artist, but do you
respect any other ascii maker for
his job. Could you say which one
ascii artist is the best in your
opinion ???

xcluzive:
There ought to be impossible to pick
one, but I'll do so anyway, since
this german, really awesomly
talented and great guy has inspired
me so much with his productions and
his design and respect for me that I
owe alot to him, and the one I'm
talking about is
Stylez/ex-ArtCore/Contra. Still
waiting for his return...

raptor:
Could you also point the best ascii
crew on the ascii scene ???

xcluzive:
The best group right now that could
be called a 'group' and not just
some bunch of guys who reawake every
second year and does a comeback-
collection is Arclite. I also have
respect for the other 'active'
groups. But quality collected is
Arclite - no others.

raptor:
Ok. Maybe you could say any tips
for beginning ascii makers ???

xcluzive:
Why would you listen to what I have
to say? You all pop up in masses,
and release about 90% total crap,
anyway. But if you'd like to
succed, take a look back to the
early years and learn what we who
lives on ever since learned from.
Finally, spend more time designing,
both logos and the total
collections!

raptor:
And now, I'll ask you our standard
question : "Do you think that ascii
will ever die ???"

xcluzive:
Not as long as there still are
others giving insperation. It's a
form of computerart, and computers
wont die for a while. What would be
great for the future of ascii would
be a smooth system- change for CED
(with BETTER emu's than UAE) to the
Pc, so the drawing could continue
there - since the Amiga already IS
dead, sad but true.

raptor:
Thank you for interview and at the
end maybe you would like to send
some respect, greetings for your
friends or just say hello...

xcluzive:
The ones worthy respect, who are
legends and the ones who really has
understood what ascii is all about
are:
