				THE SATURNE PARTY III

The party is held  in the "Parc Floral de Paris", into a very  pleasant natural
environment (about  70 acres of green-spaces), very  accessible, important  and
free park-places.
The main room  is able  to welcome more  than 8,000 people  and you'll find  at
your  disposal for your  comfort lots of  WC,  showers,  public phones...
A bar will be opened 24 hours a day, with  sandwiches, pizzas, drinks...at very
low prices.
An independant  room, comfortable and noiseless, will allow you to lay yourself
down or to sleep quietly.
A reception desk  will be set for any  information  you'd need, to  receive any
message or any disks and video-tapes to be shown on big screens.
A  computer show  is held simultaneously  nearby, where  you'll be able to find
hardware, disks, devices...
 
The entrance fee is fixed to 120 FF  and it includes your visit to the computer
swhow.
 
The Saturne Party III  opens Saturday  15th  of April  at 10:00 a.m.  and  will
close on Monday 17th of April at 2:00 p.m.

The "Parc Floral de Paris"  is located  in the South-West  area of the capital,
and is accessible :
- by car: in France,  take the Highway  A4,  get out at  Joinville, and  follow
          the "Pyramide Road" for about 5 minutes.
       or reach  the ring road of Paris, and get out  at "Porte  de Vincennes",
          "Porte Doree"  or "Porte de Charenton"  and follow the signs to "Parc
          Floral" for about 5 minutes.
- by train: if you arrive  at North Station  or East Station, take  the  subway
            line No5 towards "Place d'Italie" until the "Bastille" station, then
            take line No1 towards "Chateau de Vincennes" and get out at "Chateau
            de Vincennes". Then, follow the signs to "Parc Floral".
Anyway, the more  you get close to  the Party place, the more signs you'll find.

Medias will be present (Press, Radio, TV) and will cover the whole event.
Lots of professionals will look for talented young men.
For  the  first  time,  a  competition  on video-tapes is organised (demo-video,
synthteic movies, animations...).

R U L E S
Amiga demos: must run on a standart A1200, with 2Mb Chip, 0Mb Fast, no HD.
PC  demos:  must  run  on  486DX33  Vesa local bus, 4Mb Ram, SoundBlaster Pro or
Gravis Ultrasound, VGA 31Khz as video output, max length of file is 4Mb.
Falcon  demos:  must  run  on  a standart Falcon 030, max length of file is 4Mb.
(Atari 520 and 1040 could compete in this competition).
C64 demo : must run on standart C64 with floppy disk.
Vhs-Video:  max  duration  is 8 minutes, tape to be in Vhs or S-Vhs (Pal/Secam),
hifi-stereo sound.
Intros:  the  same  than  demos,  but  max  length is 64Kb (65536 bytes) for all
machines.
Graphics: max resolution is 736*566, in 256 colors.
Musics: the module to be in Protracker format, 4 voices.

- Everyone who wants to compete has to be present at the party.
- A same crew can introduce several demos and intros, but only one per coder.
- An artist/musician can introduce only one picture/module.

-  Competitions  of  Sensible Soccer and Doom in network. Surprise competitions,
Mangas projections...
-  Smoking, alcohol and drugs are strictly forbidden in the party place. Anybody
who makes trouble will be immediately deported.
