#3 TUNE OF THE MONTH #1 In respect of a great tradition made by names like Bruno or Delorean, Finland is probably also in this moment the scene-country with the higher number of talented musicians. Everyone knows the 'master of the volume' (Heatbeat) or people like Strobo, Groo that have done and are doing a good work. Yet, among all these big names, in the last times a new star, till today unjustly ignored, has suddenly appeared in the crowded and rich finnish musical scene. His name is #2Dizzy#1 and he's a member of Heatbeat's same crew,#2 Carillon & Cyberiad#1. All was probably started when Upstream, one of the universally recognized best mags of the scene has published the results of a curious but interesting referendum among some musicians. The aim of it was that to discover which was the best scene-musician in the opinion of the same musicians, that for obvious reasons should be considered the right persons to judge that. Well, the results were rather surprising, in fact musicians voted for a musician like Dizzy that seldom has seen his name written on the charts. We are talking about this for two reasons, firstly because Dizzy is the composer of the winning tune of this month called 'Morbid Visions', a splendid tune included in a recent slideshow from CnCd and Stellar, secondly because if you'll give a look at the Best musician chart of this same issue could note like Dizzy has entered as a new entry the TOP TEN. Now, Dizzy is in our opinion a really great talent. His winning tune at the Assembly '93 and the same winner of our monthly prize shows the great skills of this guy but... How can it be possible for him to have climbed the charts in a so short time?? Despite the undisputable talent, is therefore needed an article on a famous mag to gain votes or what? Is that a case or really people believes in Dizzy's talent?
