When  i  first  saw an article about a
party  in belgium, i already had a big
doubt  about the chances of this party
beeing  the  best  &  biggest  belgian
amiga  conference  ever  (like  it was
stated!).

about  this  article  being  a  proper
report...)

Indeed,  only TRSI suceeded some years
ago,  all  the  other  attempts  badly
FAILED!    Is   it   due   to   a  bad
organisation ?  A bad country for such
thing  ?   Or more simply bad groups ?
According   to   me,  to  all  reasons
mentioned  above.
(RDZ:   I'd never dare to comment this
mate  here,  but  he's  starting off a
little predictable, isn't he?)
I  am  swapper and i ve never seen ANY
party.info file in ANY diskmag, or ANY
party  invitation,  just a 'so called'
intro  that  was  only working on some
amiga's.  Furthemore this bugged intro
has  been  spreaded via modem ONLY, so
if u don't own a modem :  FUCK OFF !
(RDZ:   This poor fellow seems to have
problems  with  the  fact that his mum
doesn't sponsor him a modem, eh?)

Then,  i  am wondering...  WHERE (RDZ:
Here, a "THE" is missing!) HELL iS THE
DAMN PUBLICITY ???!!!???
(RDZ:    An  important  question  that
undoubtfully  legitimises such a flood
of "!"s and "?"s)
No  publicity for yar party ?  So stop
crying,  it  is  yar OWN fault!
(RDZ:   Pardon  me,  but WHAT is their
own  fault and why does he write "OWN"
in uppercase?)

Also  if  (by  any  chance (RokDaZone:
That  bracket  didn't come from me and
may  therefore  be  ignored here)) you
get  the  intro,  and  see  that it is
bugged,  you  are asking yourself some
questions  like :  hmmm, hope that the
pardy  won't  be like the intro and so
on  ...   Bad  example  eh ?  U got my
point anyway.

as there wasn't one...)
The   organisators   were   THERAPY  &
OUTLAWS  PC  SECTiON.   First of all i
can't   say   anything  about  the  pc
organisation  since i am trading amiga
warez only.
(RDZ:   Some  nasty  people would call
this   "fishing-for-compliments"   I'd
call it "buttkissing-for-beginners")

But  according to what i know, OUTLAWS
PC was planning to organize this party
a long time ago, so no excuses.
(RDZ:   Could  somebody  tell me where
the   hell  he  got  the  quintessence
from?)
About  THERAPY  now, who (RDZ:  Here a
"the"  is  missing)  hell  in the legal
scene know about this group ?  NOBODY!
(RDZ:   I  do,  but  I  guess my voice
doesn't count.)

This  group  is  mainly  active in the
cracking scene and has released 2 or 3
AMOS intros.
(RDZ:   And  what  does  this mean for
their ability in arranging a party?)

I personally wouldn't take the risk to
organize anything in belgium.
(RDZ:    Me   neither  as  I  live  in
Germany)

The  country  is full of lamers, guess
it's  the  reason  why  people call it
lamerland ...  BELGIUM!  Excepted some
divisions of foreign groups, the whole
scene  is  the MODEM scene !  Here are
the ONLY legal belgian groups :

TRAGEDY (RDZ: Aren't totally unknown?)
OUTLAWS (RDZ: A group noone knows)
INTENSE (which is of coz a division of
the  french  group (RDZ:  Again not my
bracket))
CHRYSEiS
(RDZ:He forgot DESIRE,but I guess this
group is also totally unknown. )

   In  conclusion  :   you  take a bad
organisation,  some  unknown groups, a
bad  country for such event, and u get
a VERY BAD party !

  In   conclusion:   You  take  a  bad
writer  with low English knowledge and
a  faible for uppercases, who likes to
see  his  name  in  a  mag and u get a
partyreport,  which  starts  and  ends
with   the   last  sentense.   Has  he
mentioned  in  a  single sentence, why
the  party  was  bad, what went wrong,
how many people were present?






Report of the biggest
Belgian Amiga Party

During the 2nd & 3rd of April'94

(RDZ:   Somehow  I  knew  that the one
before  couldn't  have  been  the last
laugh in this mag.)

   Like every saturday morning at 6:30
am  I  am coming back from work & jump
myself  in  my  bed.   Unfortunately I
won't  sleep for a long time, I've got
to wake up at 11:30 am.  Just the time
to  take  a  shower  eating  some cold
pizza and starting to fill my car with
some computers.

(RDZ:    As   if   anyone   would   be
interested   in   the  colour  of  his
morning shit!  Isn't this just another
banal way to fill up an article?)

12:30,  i am leaving my place, driving
to LIEGE to catch TOXiC (world leader,
sysop)   &   ALCiD  (gfx-man).   After
having   over-crowded   my   car  with
computers and strange thingz (huh?) we
finnally  left  LIEGE in order to have
phun  at  the  BIGGEST  BELGiAN  AMiGA
PARTY!  (...)

(RDZ:  I may repeat myself, but I wait
for  the report.  By the way, what was
the "(...)" for?)

We  finnally  found  the  party  place
without  too  much problems.  The hall
was  pretty  big,  there  was room for
more than 1000 people.  Unfortunatelly
only about 100 people were present.

(RDZ:   That they didn't have problems
to  find  the  partyplace  seems quite
improbable  to  me, but at least, here
we  have  some  information.)
We  ran  over  the  organisators (RDZ:
Harrharr,    they    ran    over   the
organisators!  What about walking over
TO  them?) to ask if we really were at
the  BIGGEST BELGiAN AMiGA PARTY !?!?!
A therapy member told us that it was a
bit  early,  and  that  a lot of freax
would  come  later  on  by  train  ...
22:00  and  still  no more guys around
...   The  room  started  to be fuckin
cold   !    24:00   beginning  of  the
competitions,  lack of people, lack of
entries of coz !
       Here are the results of
       the AMIGA competitions:

INTROS:
1 st: CHRYSEIS
2 nd: SATURNE
3 rd: !NO ENTRY!

MUSIC:
1 st: ARPEGIATOR/OUTLAWS
2 nd: UNIX/CHRYSEIS
3 rd: ?/?

GFX:
1 st: HE-MAN/OUTLAWS
2 nd: DNSS/THERAPY
3 rd: ALCiD/OUTLAWS
I  am enable to give u the PC results,
who  gives  a  fuck  bout  it anyway ?

(RDZ:   I  do,  and I guess many peole
else too!)

After that???  (RDZ:  After not giving
the PC-results?)

NOTHING!  Nearly everybody was leaving
the  place,  so  we  did.  (RDZ:  This
would  normally  be  the  end  of  the
article)

The bar was open 24/24H but the prices
were   HUGE!    (200fb   for   a   1l.
coca-cola bottle!)
(RDZ:   I  know  exactly how much that
is!  About 250pounds...)

Okay,  time to greet the friends i met
there :  VODKA/SATURNE (hey Vincent!),
THE  COLLECTOR/TMG  (Patriiiiick), and
all  OUTLAWS  AMiGA  members :  TOXiC,
ALCiD,  GANDALF,  HE-MAN, SIGMA 909...
Without forgetting OTL's PC section.

(RDZ:   Hrhm,  quite contradictionary.
He  writes more greetings than factual
points  in his "partyreport" and since
OUTLAWS  themselves  has a PC-section,
he  greets,  he  and  no  one  else is
interested in the PC-results?)
Please  note  that  OUTLAWS AMIGA, WAS
NOT and has NEVER BEEN involved in ANY
way with this party!

MARVELLOUS(!)  LUNATICS  BALL  was not
and has never been (which grammatically
is  absolute crap) involved in any way
with this article!)
