THE DISKMAG REVIEWS Oepir Risti #1 by Citron Again we have a first issue of a new diskmag at our hands. Oepir Risti is a Swedish mag founded by some of the better editors on the Swedish scene. Read here if their effort have paid off. PRESENTATION: Oepir Risti is certainly a very slick mag. Both when it comes to the menu-panels and the article layout, a great deal of work have been put into it. It's not really possible to critisize any of the visual stuff here and actually the tune by Jogeir Liljedahl is very nice too. It's not too often we see this kind of nice design and it's quite obvious that the mag has no problems whatsoever on that side. Besides from having the standard functions on one panel it's possible to select a second panel where rest of the functions (column-control etc.) are placed. Very nice! CONTENTS: Even though this was is the first issue of the mag. I found the contents rather limited. Only about 20 articles all together, and that sure ain't much. The topics are quite different from other mags we see today, but on the other hand it's quite well-written. Even though this issue didn't have a lot of contents I predict this mag to be quite strong, especially because the editors are all very qualified. CONCLUSION: What the editor-staff of Oepeir Risti have shown us in the first issue is far from what they should be capable of handling, and it unfortunatly seems like a lot of time have been spent on the general outlooks of the mag (Okay, it paid off) and have rushed to release the mag, thereby negleting the first issue on the contents. We expect large improvements on that field for the next issue, so start working guys... PRESENTATION 8 CONTENTS 5 OVERALL 6
