Interview with PLAYBOY of STATIC BYTES
Be by CERiZEE of THE NORDIC REPORT TEAM

1.

Hi there Playboy, how are you? Please
introduce yourself... Age, hometown,
family, hobbies etc.

I'm Playboy of Static Bytes. I am 17
years old, I have a father, a mother,
1 little brother, 1 grandparent, 10
cousins, and a dog called Leica. I
live in a little town in the middle of
Jutland (the Danish mainland) called
Bjerringbro. My hobbies... well I
really enjoy swimming and playing
basketball.

2.

Tell me about your activities in your
group.

My main function in Static Bytes is
mail trading, but there will also be
lots of work to be done for The
EuroChart in the future.

3.

Which groups have you been in before
you joined STB?

My first group on the Amiga was a
small group called ACID, but nothing
really happened there so I decided to
leave for Prologic. I was in PSS for

aprox 4 months when some internal
problems made me leave. The reason
why I wanted to join STATIC BYTES was
that I knew a lot of the members from
the STB+PSS co-op party (ASC'91), and
I must say that I'm quite happy here.

4.

STATIC BYTES have taken over The
EuroChart. Are you working on any
other projects?

Yes you're right we have made a
special agreement with Crusaders to
take over The EuroChart, but that does
not mean that we will stop making
other productions. As you might or
might not know issue 15 of The
Official EuroChart will be out on the
1st of July, and at the same time we

are going to release Cutcreations 2
which is another disk filled(!) with
music from Cutcreator. Further more
we are working on some other projects,
but they are not going to be revealed
here.

5.

Which computers have you had before
your dear AMIGA?

I started out a long time ago with the
good(?) old Commodore VIC 20, After a
while I bought a C64 and later an
Amiga.

6.

Are any other members of the scene in
your neighbourhood?

No, there are no active scene members
here!

7.

What kind of real music do you listen
to?

I like most kinds of music, but I
especially enjoy hardcore techno and
rap!

8.

What's your opinion about the scene?

As long as one does not take it too
seriously, it is really a lot of fun.

9.

And now to a very NORMAL question -
Name your favourite: CODER, MUSICAN,
ARTIST, DEMO, GROUP, DRINK, ANIMAL,
CARTOON, DISK-MAG and GIRL.

The Spy, Heatbeat, Cougar, Global
Trash 2 (despite the spelling
mistakes), Sanity, Pepsi, Fried
chicken, Garfield, RAW, and Julia
Roberts.

10.

Are you planning to go or organize a
party in the future?

I am actually going to arrange a party
together with Hawkeye of Kefrens and
Quackbuster of STB later this year,
but that party is still at a very
early stage so you'll just have to
wait for the details.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to come to
the Hurricane party this summer, but I
will of course be attending THE PARTY
'92.

11.

Thanks for this interview mate! Any
last words?

Yes I've got some last words...
Thanks for this interview, and don't
forget to vote in the EuroChart. Send
