To me, this guy just shocks the shit out of me ever time he uploads one of
his logos or pictures.He's got the talent that I only dream about and the
ideas he comes up with, simply takes my breath away.He's known today as the
best Oz graphician, and he will remain in the top seat for a long time to
come as well.

WHEN DID YOU START DRAWING ON THE AMIGA?
Around 1988 , when I mucked around in Dpaint 2 or so on my friend's
Amiga =] . Got my Amiga in 1990 which was bundled with Fusion paint..
I was drawing long before on the C64 though..
WHAT MADE YOU CHOOSE AN AMIGA?
Well , back then it offered a larger palette than any other computer..The
options were either get a PC < expensive huge lump of shit that only had 4-8
colours > , Atari ST < 16 colours from a palette of 512 > or an Amiga..
The Amiga won hands down.
WOULD YOU EVER SELL YOUR AMIGA AND BUY A PC?
Nope.
WHY NOT?
Because my A500 isn't worth shit =]..I might sell it for a few bucks to
get the A1200 quicker though.
WHICH DRAWING PROGRAM DO YOU USE MOSTLY?
Only use Dpaint 4.1.
WHAT FORMER GROUPS WERE YOU INVOLVED IN BEFORE JOINING CYDONIA?
I was in Digital Access for like 2 years..Tried to get into Phobia before
that but never got a response from Siggy (999)
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE CURRENT STATE OF THE AUSTRALIAN SCENE?
Good and bad.. Concerning our group , Cydonia , things are good . There is
a lot of talent in the group and there are some nice productions planned.
Concerning the rest of the scene , well it's not so good really. It seems
at times we're the only active group around. It's probably reached it's
most downpoint ever . I *know* there are a lot of talent in other groups ,
but they probably can't be fucked any more.
WHO IS YOUR FAVOURITE AMIGA ARTIST?
Facet.

I've already written an article on this , you git =]... anyway , a short
summary ...
CoolCat........ The best . Super smooth anti aliasing.
Wiz of Oz...... Great pictures. He ranks in the top 5.
Siggy (999).... Haven't seen much .
Kimba.......... Good.
Psyche......... Same-ish simple stuff.
Infinity....... Very good. Under rated.
Sumaleth....... Great. Ranks in the top 5.
Terminator..... Does he scan ? He's bloody excellant if he doesn't.
Repo........... Shit.
Gothic......... Good.
Bass........... Haven't seen much.
Snykers........ Good.
Drift.......... Good.
Dizz........... ok.
Reload is good also.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN THE SCENE SO FAR?
I've been in a group since '91.
YOU'VE DRAWN ALOT OF LOGOS IN THE PAST.WHICH ONE DO YOU MOST LIKE?
That glass logo in Phobos is cool. I can spot some major mistakes though.
.uhmm.. I don't like my logos..I like my pictures better.
WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR IDEAS FROM?
Just spending a few minutes experimenting and working on that.
WHAT FEATURES WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE IN DPAINT/PPAINT OR BRILLANCE THAT YOU
THINK IS VITAL FOR ALL ARTISTS?
All you really need is magnify , undo , and draw.. Oh , and I hate how
paint programs have 'Undo' right next to 'Clear'.. It's stupid. It's like
having a off/on switch right next to the return key. And I wish Dpaint
would have an option where you could put it's icons/palette in a
horizontal row ..It sucks when you do a logo that spans from the left to
the right of the screen and having to press the arrow keys to scroll all
the time.
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF ESCOM BEING THE NEW OWNERS OF THE AMIGA?
Last of what I heard , they were planning to scrap A1200 production and
concentrate on the A4000T.. I think this is a good and bad idea.. Although
A4000's are the best , not everyone would
be able to afford one .
And we need new technology.. CISC/RISC,060/PowerPC..It's hard to choose
which way would be the better path.
WOULD YOU LIKE TO SAY ANYTHING ELSE BEFORE WE END THIS INTERVIEW?
Anyone got a cheap A1200 they want to get rid of ? =]
And yeh , everyone's getting lazy.. get yer arses into gear and release
=] . Or -at least- support this mag.. we're trying , why don't you ?.
