Interview with MILKSHAKE o f ANARCHY Milkshake was interviewed by MAD BUTCHER/COMA Tell us some facts about your person first! (Age, hobbies, school/work...) Age: 18 Hobbies: Computers, Parties, Girls!, Tennis, Techno School: High-school (2g) Handle: Milkshake Function: Jeg laver grafik List up the stages of your computer-career! Have you started as graphican or have you first worked on other fields (musics, coding...)? I`ve always been working as a fucking graphican. I`ve owned the following computers: Lambda 8200 (2K and 1 bitplane = coool!) Commodore C16 (16K and 128 colors = great fun!) Commodore C64 (64K and 16 colors = hmmmmmm...) Amiga 500 (Pretty damn funky!) The groups I`ve been a member of are: C64: Headtech, Techteam. Amiga: Quodex, Warhammer 40000, Beastie Boys (The old ones), Atomic Intelligence, The real Kefrens, Rebels and Anarchy! Of which Kefrens was my best experience. What do you think about the great amount of members in ANARCHY? Don`t you think that a small group in one country is more productive (e.g. PHENOMENA)? I think the amount of members in Anarchy is just right, considering the amount of individual divisions. We`re about 30 funky dudes, from 5 different countries. Being that many only results in more quality releases, and that`s just great. Phenomena is definetly not a small group, but I like them very much, due to their great demos (Greets!). Just discribe your relationship to ICronite Are you good friends who do all things together (parties, discos...) or are you only working together on demos? Well, we`re pretty good friends. ICronite is a mulit-handicapped person, so it`s quiet hard to go to a party together with him (His wheelchair is so damn unhandly you know)... No seriously, we`ve been talking about going to parties`n stuff quiet often, but we do never suceed in doing that. But, I guess we`ll go to a techno party in the near future. (Dr. Baker and Fantasy UFO rulez!) Are you only working for demo-projects, or are you also painting for commercial games? I`ve nearly stopped painting demo graphics as I`m bored of it. My computersparetime is now being used 98% on game graphics that I`m doing for two different games (Both of`em are coded ny ICronite). I think DPaint IV offer a great amount of new functions to the graphicans. Are the graphics now getting better? Or is the quality of the graphician the only important point? Sure, the quality of graphics will be much better now, after the release of PDaint IV, as good graphics only relies on the power of the paintingprogramm. The new functions in DPaint IV are so cool that even I don`t use`em. Conclusion: I HATE DPaint IV, and I`m a bit ironic now and then. What do you think about the rumour that UNO/SCX bought all graphics from REWARD/SCX? Is it true or just another stupid lie? It`s just great, I mean, why not? I`m buying my graphics from Seen/Crystal, who`s buying his Gfx from Bitmap Brothers, who knows a guy who owns a digitizer, which his brother is able to use. Works just fine!!! What do you think about the recently reborn KEFRENS? Well, the NEW Kefrens was built by some persons who were kicked out of Rebels due to lack of skills, so it`s quaranteed that they will continue releasing quality wares under the (once upon a time) great name of KEFRENS. In other words - FUCK THEM. How come I`m so upset, I hear you ask? They shouldn`t have written that lame end-of-demo-text in their Guardian Dragon Demo, should they? Anything else to say? Yep, I would like to send some hi`s to my great friends: ICronite, Rush, Trix, Sunjohn, Mad Freak, Tama, Judge Drugg (!) and Daniel / Anarchy, Seen / Crystal, Xience / Primus, Blackstar / CRB, Toastmaster / Bacteria, MAC/ Electronic Knights, Static/Rebels, Promax/Gram Data, Crionics, Agge, Silents DK, Prisontex... and all the other I know, love or admire! And I would also like to greet the following guys for being the very best: Graphics: Joe, Uno, Mikael Balle. Code: Promax, Buddha, Tip/Spreadpoint. Music: Walkman, Bruno, Heatbeat Always remember: Techno - det er noget der rykker, naar John han tygger! PS: Greets to you MAD BUTCHER, thanks for the interview.
