INTERVIEW WITH COSY OF NEMESIS BY PAZZA AND MUB, THANX TO DEADBEAT Q: Please introduce yourself and give your scene history. A: I'm Cosy of Nemesis, I started with a group called Nitro AC (demo group) members in the group were Frap and me. Then I moved onto Magnetic Fields, doing game and demo compacts. Then I moved on to Digital and did modem trading and the usual stuff. Then I joined Anarchy, which I think is of one of the best demo groups, but that didn`t last for long, then I joined a totally different group, that was Quartex. After being in Quartex for 2 months, a few members decided to leave Quartex and reform a new group called Nemesis, of which i`m still in to this day. Q: What is your function in Nemesis? A: Original supplier and looking after the distribution sites. Q: How long have you been on the scene? A: I first joined the scene on April 21st 1988 and maybe i`ll retire soon! Q: Compare the scene 4 years ago to how it is now, how has it changed? Was it better then or now? A: In the past the scene was a lot more friendlier and open to discussion. The demos are getting better except for game cracks which are not getting cracked properly as they are getting rushed and its all mainly adventures and rpg's that don`t work. However its a lot of hard work now to release a game, compared with the past and yes the scene has changed and its all because of consoles killing the Amiga. Consoles suck! Q: What do you think will happen to the Amiga scene in the future? A: No comment! Q: Do you have any hobbies other than your computer? A: my other hobbies are racing bangers (stock cars) and photography (porno)! Q: What machines did you own before your Amiga? A: C16, Atari 130XE, C128/64. The 64 was and still is the best ever machine to come out. Q: Have you ever been bothered by any legal bodies such as FAST? A: No! But Telecom sucks and the Post Office too! Q: Who do you respect on the scene currently and why? A: N.O.M.A.D. (but unfortunately quit the scene), because when he cracked a game he did it properly. Q: Would you say piracy has helped Commodore sell the Amiga? A: Definitely, because more people know they can get games for next to zero. Thank goodness for the good old Codemaster games! Q: How can people contact you? A: If your on the scene you know how to contact me. Q: If you could write your own epitaph, what would it be? A: Enjoyed the scene, made many friends and encountered large phonebills (not as big as deadbeat`s), but i`ve still got my porsche! end.
