HOW LONG HAVE YOU GOT AMIGA?

For 3 years.

HAVE YOU HAD ANY COMPUTER BEFORE?
[SK1S]
A great Atari 65XE + tapeplayer. I will never forget those minutes of holding my breath and walking on tiptoes during reading International Karate (BTW: Those game were loading more than 20 minutes and unfortunately pushing the table was ending horribile...)

HOW DOES THE CONFIGURATION OF YOUR AMIGA LOOK LIKE ACTUALLY?
[SK1S]
Amiga? What Amiga?!? That is only casing found on any C-Party. Under it you have a great coffeemill on which sometimes I'm koding small black coffee, on the desk I've a plug which makes an overflow of new ideas. I've also a floppy spiral to clean pipes MF 2 DD, a hand hammer to break glenz and box of cloured pencils. Sometimes ago I had a funny disc drive but it was propelled by an internal-combustion engine and I couldn't stay to long near it.

WHEN DID YOUR SCENE FASCINATION START?
[SK1S]
It was when Holy Virgin punished me sending Atari. I always liked 5 jumping sprits (four are players, one was a bullet - I remember!!!). When I found this casing for A500, I decided that I must do the same with it. I was very happy when I found out that on this I can make 8 sprits!!! Seriously my Scene fastinaton was started after maybe a year running after ghosts on the screen when Alis and Valdi found Crazy Club Eating Grass that is MAD ELKS. It was about a month before the first CParty in Zywiec (maybe in Apr 92).

WHAT WAS  THE REASON THAT YOUR HANDLE IS DAK? DOES THAT HANDLE HAVE ITS OWN HISTORY?

Handle like handle, you can translate it in a few ways. First and maybe prime, is my name Darek, next is Deutche Africa Korps, other is Deutsche Angestellten Krankenkasse. (I'm not a german!)

HOW DOES YOUR COOPERATION WITH OTHER ELKS LOOK LIKE?

With I live friendly with whole group, personally I know most of the people and we are friends.

WHAT WILL WE BE ABLE TO SEE FROM MAD ELKS IN THE FUTURE?
[SK1S]
I think a lot of shit, because for a long time nobody has cleaned here. About production - now there is a small break because people have. We should start in full motion after the holidays, I'd like to make a big trackmo with ideas that actually exist only in my mind. Other things that I can say - two demos on AGA and music-disk from French section. Slide-show on AGA, film about MDE by Xenos and new issue of 2fuckTHEglenz pack from Redmana, SCA and Kopara.

WHAT, IN YOUR OPINION, MAKES THAT MAD ELKS GROWS UP SO WELL?
[SK1S]
I've no idea if we grow up or not. I know for certain that for only one year from a group of 3 people which had no skills in making demos we have become a group which is known by the most people on the scene in the world. How did it happend? It is enough to want and obstinately bound to one's target and not be satisfed by half-measure. bla, bla.....

AND NOW MAYBE YOU WILL SAY SOMETHING ABOUT DISK MAGS. SAY WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT MAGS FROM THE POLISH SCENE. ONLY DO NOT SAY THAT THERE ARE TO MANY MAGS, PLEASSSSSSSSE!

There aren't to many of them!!! I do not read them all, but I think that there are avantguard quality. In many magazines we can see that they want to have very many texts and they do not care about their quality. They only want to have more texts then other mags. The best instance for our scene should be R.A.W., in this magazine only some percent of the articles which are sent is published. Also, there is too few articles about the scene - showing scene history, some about groups, people's opinion about other peoples from the scene, groups about other grups, koders about demos. There was only one exception - a great cycle in Zig Zag 'Musicans about musicans', but it isn't enough! There are not enough mags in English, one Thing do not makes spring, if this situation doesn't change we will stay forever in second league, where is a better place to advertise oneself if not in ones own mag?

DO YOU THINK THAT ANYONE NEEDS MAGS?
[SK1S]
Yes! They create the image of the scene. They are a powerful tool to make noise about some person or group, they estimate if this demo is lame or cool, if this group is lame or "elite guys", if Mark K. is better then Mark P. and which one has better scanner. Mags are useful for their creators, they can make charsts and people can feel better if they see how their group is becoming one of the best.

DO YOU READ DISC MAGS AND WHICH?

Sure, I have acquired this habit. Usually I look at everything that I  get, but my favourite are: Przypadkownik, Fat Agnus, Paper White, Zig Zag, Barbapapa, R.A.W., Satanic Rites, Top Secret.

WHAT IS YOUR OPINION ABOUT THE POLISH SCENE IN CONFRONTATION WITH THE WESTERN SCENE?
[SK1S]
We are still in a closed club (many polish mags), but if we believe to western mags we were the biggest suprise of last year. Now it is the fashion on the Polish scene and we should use it as long as we are on the top.

WHICH OF POLISH PRODUCTION IN YOUR OPINION IS THE MOST SUCCESSFUL, THE MOST FINISHED UP, THE BEST?
[SK1S]
Some time ago it was "Marchewki" (in English "CARROTS"), which haven't stayed for unknown reason a synonym of Polish scene. Then a few demos were made which are cool, but something is missing in them....

WHO IN YOUR OPINION IS THE BEST CODER? LET'S SAY THAT WE ARE TALKING ONLY ABOUT POLISH SCENE.

In Poland there is no THE best CODER, there are two the best coders:
Vico and Musashi. Unfortunately the first is lateley rather non-active.

WHICH GRAPHICAN IS IN YOUR OPINION THE NUMBER ONE?

I haven't typed anyone. I can mention Rys, Animal, SEQ and Xenos.

NOW IS THE TIME FOR MUSICAN?

In this choice I haven't any objections: XTD; but I can't forget about Scorpik, Peters, Jark, Mr.Root, and Dreamer.

AND LAST, WHO IS THE MARVEL AS SWAPPER?

Noby for the dbstinancy that he bound to aim, Redman for his many contacts, Kopara for promotion of Polish scene in the west some time ago,  Irkek P. for his treatment of the scene and all of the people who know what friendship swapping is.

THAT'S ENOUGHT ABOUT THE BEST - LET'S TALK ABOUT YOUR DEMO "TECHNOLOGICAL DEATH". WHAT IS YOUR OPINION ABOUT IT?

I will not analyse this demo because I can't do it objectively. I can only say that now I would change a few things, but the idea would stay unchanged.

WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS FOR YOUR NEXT PRODUCIONS?

A demo which will occupy a higher place than TD. (maybe my grandmother will code it)

I do not want to have an enemy, probably I've a few but nobody had told me this straight. I think about Tom and Python, their loss in Ûywiec created some unplesant comments towards us, also XTD which takes revenge on whole our group even if some time ago we drank not only one bottle of alcohol.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO IN YOUR FREE TIME, WHEN YOU DON'T CODE?

Boozing, films, books, friends, music (unfortunately only listening), partying and swapping.

You can rely only on yourself. If you are using somebody's procedures bounds to nothing, when you spend more time in making an effect you will have more pleasure from it. Exert your brain and try to invent someting new instead of making new red glenz wiht 6 walls more than somebody.
