Dolphin: Please start by introducing
yourself.
Peachy: Yes, what do I have to say???
Yes!!! Yes... I'm pissed! Yes,
after THE party III I'm pissed...Well,
after having seen that MACK allways
answers his questions together with
other (rather unknown) graphicians
(like HOF, <<< quite cool name in
german, man!!! I thought about
renaming myself to HinterHOF) I wanted
to be quite original (and humouristic
like FACET) ... but I better leave it
and be myself and not change just for
an interview. So, hello I'm Peachy
well known as Magnus-Heiko Hieronymus.
(you see, I'm making friends...this
will be the darkest hour for all other
graphician (and who think to be so...)
Dolphin: How much time do you spend
on a full-screen picture?
Peachy: I always need exact 2 days, 5
hours, 23 minutes and 37 secounds...I
HATE that questions...BUT I'm sure to
be the fastest of these bunch of
'graphicians'... ooops...no, Groo &
Rufferto are faster, coz of scanning!
(Hey another 2 NEW friends :) By the
way, who are they???? I think that
differs. My personal experiences are
that pictures with higher resolutions
are easier to handle and made in a
short period...But all depends on the
personal motivation. So I think for a
normal (not too complex) full screen
picture in Hires Interlace I usually
need 2 days... Beat that (WITHOUT
SCANNING OR DIGITIZING)!
Dolphin: Where do you get your
inspiration? Do you copy from
allready exisisting pictures or do you
always use your own imagination?
Peachy: That was it for the first few
pictures...I think every graphician
did so. (and some still do so ... )
What I call copying from books is to
take the whole picture and redrawing
it without changeing anything. This
is LAME. Especially on computer...If
you do so you can simply digitize it,
that's faster...this is waste of time!
Lots of 'cool' graphicians do so,
why??? Hey Faifax! We have seen now
nearly all pictures of MARK HARRISON'S
'DREAMLANDS' in your slide show &
previous releases in RAW. What about
drawing more own pictures or at least
changing something on this pictures???
I think it is lame to draw just some
mountains (HARRISON). Mountains are
the easiest to do...Why copyimg them,
even if they are great, hail MARK!
That to Fairfax. Some think they are
the best if they just say,,,,hey, ok,
this is a dragon which I took from
BORIS, *BUT*, I made it possible...the
'background' was drawn by me
(hmmm...just some lame looking
mountains)...It's pure shit
talking...(sorry, but I take this for
making friends, you know?) If you
don't know by now who I'm talking of:
FUCKET...THE MAN WITHOUT BACKGROUND.
Another lame point is, if you call
your picture 'Not a copy!', lame, does
that man think to win, just because
it's popular to say so in this hard
times for graphicians??? Nevertheless
the picture was lame! Hi Devil
(STAR?)
Dolphin: Have you ever been tempted
to use a digitizer?
Peachy: Yes, exactly 1 time by a
graphician. He is called NAVY (at
that time VANISH) He is a german
graphician who released some lame
slide shows before. He called me just
2 days after the party, I think, and
said that I copied it from BORIS, and
I said that he is right! (By the way
that 'WOMSNAKE' is the one and only I
copied from BORIS! Then he accused me
of scanning Sheryl Lee and so on...No
REAL graphician would say so I
think... Here is the TRUTH! : I saw
the photo of Sheryl Lee in the latest
issue of CINEMA. I liked it very much
and so I decided to draw her...Just
like every other FAMOUS graphicians
did it some years ago (of course not
on computer :) And just because of not
having enough money to take models,
like Boris does, I copy (if I copy in
recent months) from photos and compose
them to a totally new picture (like
BORIS) In this way I do it right like
hin: He get some models, and composes
a scenary. Then he takes a photo of
it and throw the ready picture via an
overhead-projector on his paper. Now
he draws the contoures and finally
paints the whole picture with some
imaginary new things. I take some
photos. If the thing I want to draw
is too complex or a kinda human thing
I prefer to raster that picture...I
Think you know this method from your
time at school. Now I have some
contoures and compose the new picture
(with or without rastering) and
finally paint it. At the rastering
some may think that the use of a
scanner would be helpful...YES! It is
... but at this time I still don't
have one, because the one which I want
to have costs about 3.000 DM... and
that is to much for such a thing at
the moment. I'm just a bloody
student. (Sorry for all guys (girls!)
for not writing back a period of time
or longer delays, but I just moved my
sleeping place... Not under a bridge,
sucker! just to the towm I studying
right now)
Dolphin: How many 8*8 fontsets have
you ever painted in your life? Do you
plan on painting any more of them?
Peachy: Uff...hmmm I think I have
drawn only 4 or 5 ... I don't like
fonts. You don't need them in real
life...logos are prefered...So I plan
not to draw any new charsets, coz it's
simply slave-work....but I like all
kinda abnormal (execpt MELON who seem
to have changed to real LAMERS!
Nothing about old times with the
french releases like the Human Target
demo...But this kinda new 'DEZIGN' is
not needed...I simply hate it) It's ok
to have phun especially on
paddies...But in a way competitions
should be taken a little more serious
(I'm NOT talking about the GFX compo!
But the music compo!) People have made
something special and shouldn't be
beaten for it! Vote who really
deserves it. I'm still NOT talking
about my picture. It was no
competition pic like last year where
all was planned. BORIS was the most
used word in GFX scene. Also naked
ladies and dragons. The whole shit
big presented (no small details) and
you win. - I won....Nevertheless it
was lame :)
Dolphin: Please mention some pictures
from other graphicians which you think
deserves your respect!
Peachy: Well, thats hard...I
personally love some pieces of
Cougar's work. He seem to love them
too :) His 'Dragon Sun' from the paddy
2 is quite cool even though it's
redrawn...I hope, Christian, you get
an AGA computer soon so that you don't
have to draw an AGA picture from a
simple 32 LOWRES picture at a party
:). Just take a look at my new
picture called 'Irresistable' which, I
think, uses at first really all the
power of true color on Amiga. Enough
about that, the flies may go now...
Besides some of Cougar's work I love
the art of Ra, which is a kinda new
(and besides that HE is KEWL...) But I
don't like his attitudes to scanning!
I still think it's ok to scan a
picture that you have drawn with
airbrush on paper...It's your work,
why not scanning it...especially on
AGA Amigas you have more colors, why
not using them??? A HAM picture like
'Irresistable' (again ... hehehe)
take too much time ... because you
can't draw in HAM. You have to put it
together... (By the way after the
release of this picture -it will
appear in 'BLACK ZONE'- I will give
all drawing steps to interested
people, the same to 'Land of
Confusion', the picture from the
comptition in Herning. (I gave them
only 5 steps out of 30 because the
whole bunch would have been over 7
disks I think :), or what would it
take to spread a 5MB LHA file on
disks???? And again, the flies may go
now... Besides Cougar and Ra I
respect the work of Fairfax. This
means I like his hard and detailed
drawing! In a way I don't like MARK
HARRISON ... so if you could draw
something other like the chinese in
your slide...your work is kewl, your
simple redrawings not...Change that
and I check again :) Why the hell does
your slide only show the lame first
gfx on my A4000???? on A500 it shows
all...Planned??? Hate AGA??? This
are the 3 graphicians I like and love
:) OOPS and of course you FADE
ONE...getting better and better, hope
you do some more, forget ya silly
sport studies...I'm in a better
condition than you :)
Dolphin: Do you think it's easily
spotted if someone digitize a picture
and then participate in a
gfx-competition?
Peachy: Yes and No ... some pictures
can be spotted some not. This depends
on the screen settings! And because
the last one in Herning was absolutly
pure shit (I said them to change it
but lame people do lame things :) it's
not that easy. Maybe you better ask
Mr. NAVY/TRSI he has THE eye for
it... even if I wonder why his gfx
look now much better then his lame
slides before his call (IS THERE A
REASON ?????)
Dolphin: Now ask yourself a question
and answer it!
Peachy: Yes, ohhh lord please give as
the answer to the mighty question: DO
YOU STILL TAKE PART IN GFX
COMPETITIONS TOUGH THEY ARE FAKED? WE
HAVE HEARD YOU'RE THINKING ABOUT
LEAVING THE MIGHTY (BUT LAME)
SCENE???? IS THAT TRUE????
Peachy: Thank you for this kewl
question...This one seems to have a
higher standard then the other ones :)
Yes, eehhhm, no I don't think I'm
competing again in such competitions.
(the audience goes ... aaahhhh thank
god!) Simply because I can't stand the
stress...and I'm a bit sensible.
(ohhh will er nicht mehr der kleine
scheisser??? sniff) Yes you heard
right. I think I'll never beat FUCKET
in the EUROCHARTS :) Though I hope if
not me then please FAIRFAX (though I
hope he quits just copieing, coz it's
lame) I think I will quit scence after
our Black Zone Demo. Besides if you
are interested: This demo will work
on ALL TURBO 680x0 AMIGAS with special
ECS & AGA features and it will be a
hard disk installable...and hopefully
the best one ever (well it's of course
better than all Xmas releases) Thank
you for now ... Hope I kicked some
asses of some graphicians which was my
attitude ... only the best survive me
:) FUCK IN PEACE! CHANGE IT! CHANGE
IT!
