LIGHT and PHENOMENA
  Easter Party 92


Yes!  I'm yet again back to give you a
little  party  report  from  the party
named  above.   I've  to  say  that we
called  one of the arrangers up just a
couple   of  days  before  this  event
should  take  place  and  he said that
they   suppose   atleast  1000  people
showing  up  and that this party would
beat  everything  including  the  very
nice   ANARCHY-CRYSTAL-SILENTS   party
last   christmas.   Now  we  know  the
truth....  B U L L S H I T !

OK,  We  left Varnamo at aprox.  13:00
and we entered the party at 15:30.  We
payed  the entrance of 150 sek (That's
far too much for this crap) and looked
around the party place for a while.  I
think  there  were  about  700  people
there and most of them were completely
unknown  lamer  groups (You know those
small  kids  playing and copying games
all the time...), althrough I met some
friends   in  Fairlight  and  Silents.
Ohhh.   I forgot to tell you where the
party  was  located.  It was held in a
icehockey-hall   in   a   town   named
Alingsas,  about  4 miles northeast of
Gothenburg, Sweden.

Anyway,  we  decided to go downtown of
this  very lame town to get some food.
We  got  back to the party and after a
while  and we met Zcandaler (very kewl
seeing you again)!

On  the  evening  we  decided to drink
something.   We  drank  some beers and
went  all  over the party and tried to
talk  with  different  lamers.   I met
some  kewl  germans who also were into
TECHNO  AND  RAVE  this  night  and we
decided  to  play  some  music  in one
other  hall, and so we did.  Techno is
sure  the  best  music  around!!!  The
other  people in this hall wasn't that
into Techno...

Later  this  night I went sleeping for
some  hours.   The next day, Saturday,
we  decided  to visit LISEBERG (One of
swedens kewlest amusementcenters).  As
the  weather was totally fucked up (it
was  raining  cats and dogs !), we was
just  into  the  arcadehall and played
for  some  time.   I  have to tell you
that LISEBERG is located in Gothenburg
city  and  I had big problems to drive
in   that   city,   anyway  thanks  to
Zcandaler  and  Robocop  we  got there
atlast.

We got back to the party and it was as
boring  as  it  could  be.  No action.
The  arrangers  showed  some demos and
computermovies  on  the  screen.  They
claimed  that they had got a 1200 watt
HiFi  there,  but  they  seemed not to
used  it  well,  as they played on low
volume all the time!

I  might say that this party consisted
of  lots of Commodore 64 groups aswell
and  that  maked  the  party ever more
boring...

On  the  saturday night we did nothing
special,   as   the   'nightlife'   of
Alingsas  was  nothing  to  speak loud
about!!!    Well,   one   funny  thing
happend  that  night.   The  arrangers
showed  an  old Fairlight C64 demo and
whole   Fairlight  got  up  and  maked
noise.  Now lots of other people began
to  say  'buh!',  and so the arrangers
took  notice  and  they  made  a  fast
picture  on  an Amiga.  On the picture
they  had  printed 'FAIRLIGHT IS LAME'
and  they  began  to  show it in small
frequences  while  the  C64  demo  was
still  running.   Now  Strider/FLT got
really  angry and ran to the arrangers
place  and  looked  for  the  computer
where   the  picture  was  placed  (He
seemed  not  to  have found it), so he
and   a  couple  of  FLT  members  was
guarding  the arrangers place for some
time.    That   looked   funny!    Hey
FAIRLIGHT!   Are  you so childish that
you  can't even take a funny joke like
that, LAME...

On   Sunday   morning   we   got   the
information   that   the  competitions
should  take  place  on the evening of
Sunday.   We  couldn't  stand it!  You
know,  we were so fucked up about this
very  lame  party  so we decided to go
home.   And  so we did at 11:30.  This
is  the  first party I left before the
competitions  started.   At  14:00  we
were at Zune's place and we decided to
do  some modemtrading so we should get
some warez....
And  atlast overall impression of this
party:   The  party  was not that good
organized,  as the party had NO ACTION
at  all.  It was a 100% BUSINESS party
to  get  as  much  money  as possible.
That's  real  shitty of you arrangers!
They also lied in the invitation, They
claimed  that  there  should be Arcade
and   pinball  machines  there.   Bull
crap!   They  didn`t  seem  to  have a
alltime   modemline  either.   Because
that  should be a little bill, and the
aim  was  to  earn  as  much  money as
possible, am I right?

As  you  all  know, I'm VERY unpleased
and  disapointed  by this shitty party
and  I  can't figure out why Phenomena
want  to  destroy  their  name by this
shit!
