Dizzy of CNCD is  nowhere to be found on the charts these days. But our
survey among musicians showed that he is probably on of the most under-
rated musicians on the scene today. We had a little chat with him,

Dizzy,  in  our  musicians-survey  your
"colleagues"    voted    you   as   the
second-best  after  Heatbeat.   Do  you
feel honoured?

-  Second..   Wow.  Yes, maybe I should
say I feel very honoured.  :)

In the normal charts you are nowhere to
be found, how do you feel about that?

-  Haha..   I  asked  Heatbeat  what  I
should answer to this one, and also got
an  advice,  but  I'm  gonna  tell  you
something else though..
Let's  take  a  parable here..  Turn on
your TV (if you have one) and listen to
the     MTV-whatever-european-top-tens,
they have their own top hits of certain
kind  of  music.   But  that's  just  a
little scratch on the surface of all of
it..
Now   then,   if   you   think  of  the
'scene-world'  as  a  reflection of our
real  one,  you'll notice that the same
type  of  popular  artists  are  always
topping  the  charts.  I'm listening to
Bill Frisell CD at the moment, so maybe
that tells you something..  :)

However, you have been making music for
quite  some time, what's the reason for
being so "quiet"?

- Quiet..  well nobody seems to release
my  tunes,  is that reason good enough?
:)  Of  course,  there are periods when
the   inspiration  is  high,  sometimes
there  feels  to  be none of it.  Every
musician  has the same thing, my latter
periods  just have the tendency to turn
out to be considerable longer..

Does  a  position in this kind of chart
mean  more  to you than a position in a
normal chart would mean?


-   Positions  and  positions..   Don't
know, since I haven't ever been to one.
Anyone cares?

Can  we expect to hear more from you in
the future and if "yes", what then?

-  Hard to say..  It seems that I'll be
attending  the  Finnish  army from next
autumn, so the amount of my non-militar
actions  will  decrease  for  a  while.
Well,   there   are   a   bunch  of  my
unreleased  mod's  left though..  dunno
if   somebody's  going to  do the twist
with   them.   And  always,  there's  a
possibility    for    some   commercial
projects..   throw  me  a letter if you
need music :)

Which 3 musicians are your own personal
favorites?


-  Three  musicians?   I have to expect
that  you  mean three Amiga musicians..
anyway,  three  is a very small number.
Umm..   Heatbeat,  Bruno,  Fleshbrain..
I'm  leaving  a  lot  of  guys out now,
though.

You  are a member of CNCD, a group with
the  most powerful musicians in Finland
and  the whole scene.  How comes all of
you are assembled in one group?

-  I'm  not  a  physician,  so  I can't
explain..  maybe it has something to do
with  the  chaos  theory.   As a group,
CNCD  is  a jolly good mixture of weird
people  and  great friends..  and as we
thought  about  it, an interesting fact
is  that almost every one of us has/had
something to do with music.



Heatbeat  asked  me  to  tell  all  his
greetings to fans..  I just phoned him,
he  had started to answer the interview
as  well,  but  then the Great Magician
Mukamas  appeared from the darkness and
took  him  with him, the skies went out
and the telephone call ended abruptly.
