              Where, when and how ?
             -----------------------

This  year the party will be held in Kristiansand,
Norway's 5th largest town, and tourist-city number
one !  To be more exact the party will be arranged
in Badminton Senteret, a sports-hall located right
outside Kristiansand centrum.

The party will start on 
   
30 July at 13:00

and will end on
   
1 August at 16:00

 How do you get there ?
------------------------
Let  us  first  of  all locate Kristiansand at the
map.   The town is situated right at the bottom of
Norway.

If you come from Central Europe, you can simply go
to  Hirsthals  in  Northern Denmark, and then take
the ferry directly to Kristiansand.  The ferry has
4  departures  every  day,  so  it  won't  be THAT
difficult to find one that fits.  The company that
runs these ferries is caled COLOR LINE.

For  those  of  you  who come from Northern Europe
(Norway,  Sweden  or  Finland),  there goes trains
directly to Kristiansand centrum.

If you drive by car, you simly find E18 and follow
this  one to Kristiansand.  If you come from east,
drive until you reach a roundabout.  Here you must
take  left, and then follow the signs saying eiter
"Badminton Senteret" or "Rendezvous".  If you come
from  west,  follow E18 through centrum, through a
tunnel  and  then over a river.  At the end of the
bridge,  follow  the  sign to "Lund", and then the
signs to the party-place.

For  the  rich  ones  among  you, there is also an
airport  outside Kristiansand, and a bus goes from
it  to Centrum.  Remember to ask the bus-driver to
stop at the bus-stop near Badminton Senteret.

From  centrum  there goes buses quite often in the
direction of the party-place.  Simply ask the bus-
driver  to  stop  at  the  bus-stop near Badminton
Senteret to get off at the right place.

The  following  buses  can  be  taken  to  get  to
Badminton  Senteret:   (But make sure that it goes
the right way!  (-:  )

 01, 02, 03, 04, 06, 07, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 23, 
 24, 35 and 36.

During the days of the party, we will mark the way
from  the  bus- stop to the hall, and also the way
to drive, if you go by car.

                   Competitions
                  --------------

There  will be the usual competitions at the party
(Graphics, music and demo).

We  will also repeat the success from last year...
The  soccer-competition.   We  have  got two play-
grounds  for this one, so we hope it'll be a great
success.

A  "wheel  of  fortune"-competiton  will  also  be
arranged, featuring some great prizes.

Also  look  out  for  other surprise-competitions.
(Those who come, will see.)

The 1. prize in the demo-competition will probably
be an A4000.


 Rules for the competitions:
-----------------------------
The  demos  have  to run on any Amiga 500 with any
RAM  configuration over 1 Mb, but ought to work on
an A4000 or an A1200.  You choose which machine to
run the demo on, either A500, A1200 or A4000.

Music have to be delivered in a PT-format-file.

Pictures  can be delivered in any amiga-iff-format
(including AGA).

                    Facilities
                   ------------

An electrician will be at the party-place 24 hours
a day to avoid problems with the power.

There is a cafeteria in the building where you can
buy some REAL food.  The cafeteria will be open at
daytime.

We  will  set  up  a  kiosk  where  we  will  sell
hot-dogs,  coke  etc.   This  one  will be open 24
hours a day.

There  are  several large shops in the area around
the hall, so you can buy your food-stuffs there.

Two petrol-stations are situated not far away from
the  party- place, and these will be open 24 hours
a day.

Several   showers   will   be  available  for  the
participants of the party.

We  will  have  a  guarded  room for valuables and
other things you want to put in it.

We  will  arrange  a lazer-disc room where you can
relax with some movies.

We will place as many arcade- machines as possible
around  in  the  hall.   (No  pac-man  and  space-
invaders!)

The  town,  Kristiansand,  has also a lot to offer
those of you who don't want to sit infront of your
computer all day.

There  are some nice beaches not far away from the
hall, so make sure to bring your swimming trunks.

Kristiansand  has  got  Norway's  newest McDonalds
restaurant, and one of Europe's finest.

The centrum of Kristiansand is in walking distance
from  the party- place.  Here you can find several
computer-shops,  and  lots  of  other places worth
visiting.

                  Miscellaneous
                 ---------------

 What will it cost ?
---------------------
We  will charge each one of you for 130 NOK at the
entrance when you arrive.  Then you'll be "marked"
so  that  we can see wheter you have payed or not.
Unfortunately,  we  do only accept payment in NOK.
So  make  sure  to  change  some  money  into this
currency before arriving at the party-place.

It's  also  a  possibility  to  save  some of this
amount.   If  you  pay  in  advance,  we will only
charge  you  for  100  NOK.   You  have to use our
bank-giro for this service.  Our number is

        6325 05 60739,

but  make  sure to pay at least 14 days before the
party starts.

Remember  to  bring your receipt from the bank, so
that  we can check that you've really payed.  This
one must be shown at the entrance.

(Note that this service is for Norwegians only.)

 How do I behave ?
-------------------
We have put up the following rules:

1) 
Smoking  is  only  allowed  outside  the building.
(Mr.   Man  will  of course be allowed to wear his
smoking inside, too!!!)

2) 
Alcohol  is  strictly  forbidden.  If we yet catch
someone   with  alcohol,  it  will  of  course  be
consfiscated.

3) 
You  will of course have to pay for everything you
destroy or damage.

4) 
Those who can't behave properly will be thrown out
of  the  building,  and  we won't hesitate to hand
real trouble-makers over to the police.


 Other information
-------------------
Wires will of course be layed out, but it would be
great if you brought your own SAFE ones.
