  [ WHERE AND WHEN WE CAN MEET? ]

Astrosyn`97  will  be held in Koszalin, north-wester side of Poland on
December  13th-14th,  1997.   Partyplace  is  a  big  sports  hall  on
Raclawicka   15-17   street   (property  of  Technical  University  of
Koszalin).   Door  will  be  opened  on  Saturday at 05:00 and will be
closed on Sunday`s afternoon at 15:00.


  [ FACILITIES ]

- room for 1000 party ones (and over if any :);
- sleeping room in separate, silent area (for your pleasure only);
- manga and adult room for all maniacs of japanese cartoons and erotic
  stuff;
- cafeteria for food and beer support;
- showers, toilets (free access for anyone) and much more of course;


  [ FEATURES ]

- over 36 partyhours non-stop (fullfilled with action, romantic, drama
  and comedy moments);
- over 12 main competitions for Amiga and PC (Atari and C64 probably,
  too, if only someone can organize these compos);
- over 20 fun-compos (aka cola compo, freak compo, dance compo, dawn
  compo, paper-eating compo, elk compo and much more);
- techno party in the middle of the night! (professional dj sets);
- possibility of meeting polish elite in action :)));
- free internet access (report Astrosyn`97 online mode);
- and others...


  [ COMPETITIONS ]

  Main rules:

- production must NOT write anything on hdd;
- user interaction - you can exit the demo all the time by pressing
  LPM (Amiga) or ESC (PC);
- all productions must be in the final version!;
- for all foreigners: you MUST NOT BE PRESENT at the partyplace for
  showing your production!  we decide to do this, because of increase
  number of good productions and giving the chance to polish elites to
  making better productions (hardest competition :); so, if you want
  to show anything at our party without coming here - contact one of
  addresses described at the end of the file; we hope you all skilled
  guys (TBL, Artwork, Mystic, Haujobb, Nerve Axis and other) can show
  Poles who rule the scene one more time (or not! :)));
- all entris should be compressed with using: LHA, LZX, ZIP, RAR and
  ARJ file archivers;
- no self-extracting archives will be allowed.
- no funny characters in names allowed, but more than 8+3 format are
  supported (amiga power!);

  Amiga - a1260/50, 16mb fastram;
        - setpatch and cyberpatcher runned before;
        - if possible - Cybergraphix and Delfina DSP;

        alternative: a1240/40,16mb fastram;
                     a1230/50,8mb fastram;

  PC - Pentium 120 (minitower :);
     - 16mb ram;
     - Gravis Ultrasound 1mb;
     - S3 virge 2mb, uniVBE 5.3 (if required);
     - DOS 6.22, himem, emm386 (Windows`95 free);

  - no more than 5mb on the disk in uncompressed format (5120 kb);
  - no more than 10 minutes on big screen will be shown;
  - one demo per one coder only!;

  [ PC Demo competition ]

  - no more than 5mb on the disk in uncompressed format (5120 kb);
  - no more than 10 minutes on big screen will be shown;
  - one demo per one coder only!;
  - demo must support Gravis ultrasound or we DON`T show it :(;
  - no sound mode support;

  [ Amiga 64kb intro competition ]

  - no more than 64k on the disk in uncompressed format (65,536 b);
  - no more than 10 minutes on big screen will be shown;
  - one demo per one coder only!;
  - one file only (no data files allowed!);

  [ PC 64kb intro competition ]

  - no more than 64k on the disk in uncompressed format (65,536 b);
  - no more than 10 minutes on big screen will be shown;
  - one demo per one coder only!;
  - demo must support Gravis ultrasound or we DON`T show it :(;

  - no more than 4k on the disk in uncompressed format (4096 b);
  - no more than 10 minutes on big screen will be shown;
  - one demo per one coder only!;
  - one file only (no data files allowed!);

  [ PC 4kb intro competition ]

  - no more than 4k on the disk in uncompressed format (4096 b);
  - no more than 10 minutes on big screen will be shown;
  - one demo per one coder only!;
  - no sound support;
  - one file only (no data files allowed!);
  - tell us about mem configuration before delivering this, ok?

  [ 4 channel module competition ]

  - no more than 1mb = 1024kb on the disk in uncompressed format!;
  - one module per one author;
  - just first 4 min. will be played (modules should be longer);
  - protracker format only!;
  - mods will be played with hottest version of Hippo Player;
  - conversions will be disqualified;

  [multichannel modules competition - amiga and pc ]

  - no more than 1mb = 1024kb on the disk in uncompressed format!;
  - one module per one author;
  - number of the channel is limited to 20 (work more lazy ones :);
  - just first 4 min. will be played (modules should be longer);
  - conversions will be disqualified;
  - formats accepted by DigiBooster Pro for Amiga and Cubic player for
    PC (.dbm, .digi. .mod. .s3m, .xm, .it, .ft etc.)

  [ pixel graphics competition ]

  - one picture per author only;
  - max. resolution is 800x600 24bit. all other formats willb be
    scalled by us :);
  - filetypes accepted are: IFF-ILBM, IFF-24, GIF, PCX, JPEG, PNG,
    TARGA and compatible; if you use other filetype - gave us an
    converter or convert it to one of accpeted types at home...;
  - pics will be shown on Amiga with graphics card;
  - hot-porno and brutal violence will be censored;
  - please don`t deliver us pics made on Photoshop only - we gave
    chance to all of you, who made your pics more than 20 mins only;
  - two versions of the pic - with signature (for spreading) and
    without signature (for compo); we will spread SIGNED versions
    only; if you doesn`t remove your sign - we did it, but it`ll looks
    strange :(;

  [ trace graphics competition ]

  - one picture per author only;
  - max. resolution is 800x600 24bit. all other formats willb be
    scalled by us :);
  - filetypes accepted are: IFF-ILBM, IFF-24, GIF, PCX, JPEG, PNG,
    TARGA and compatible; if you use other filetype - gave us an

  [ crazy demo competition ]

  - we show you productions really worth of it only; all demos will be
    spreaded after party;
  - no other rules, use your illusion :)

  [ video demo competition ]

  - deliver demos on VHS tape;
  - no more than 10 minutes on big screen will be shown;
  - one demo per group (credits should be included in the demo!);


  [ NOTE ]

  - door entrance is 25 PLN (about 9 USD and 15 DEM);
  - if you arrive with your computer - fee is 15 PLN only!;
  - FREE entrance for all FOREIGNERS and GIRLS (BEAUTY only, ugly ones
    should pay as everybody :);
  - we will not accept anybody selling anything without our permission
    (we gave it to you, but please, tell us about it before, ok?);
  - hard and soft drugs are not allowed at the party place. if we find
    any it will be confiscated and not given back;
  - intoxicated people will be thrown out or handed over to the guards
    and should pay for any damages;
  - we don`t accept any weapons and firework at the partyplace;
  - we take no responsibilty for any illegal hardware/software
    spreaded at the partplace;
  - if you listen dance or disco music, wear dress and use much more
    gel on your hairs - we don`t like you and better stay at home
    fucker!
  - if you are pc-younger and you plane to play some duke there - we
    will kick you from the partyplace - it`s a good scene c-party and
    you can become lame at home :(;

        hello  there  sceners!  i`ve got an happy message for ya all -
there  will be hels another fine party here in poland - not commercial
as  assembly,  not  fullfilled  by  fuckin`  "duke"  and "quake" young
players  -  just something like "back to the roots" - pure fun, compos
and  competing  for glory, not for money-prizes only.  of course there
will  be  gratifications,  but not that expensive as on asm or tg.  we
prefer fun between commercial!

        due  some  talks  we include very nice feature for all of you,
who  don`t  want  to come personally but want to be a part of compo by
showing  your prod on bigscreen - NO PRESENCE IS NEEDED for all of you
foreigners.   so  if  you  wanna  publish  here  in koszalin/poland on
"astrosyn`97" c-party your module, grpahics, intro, demo or whatever -
please  send  it  into  archive  (lha,  lzx) to these address by using
