CULT CEBIT-PARTY REPORT

Well,on  the  14.03.92  at 6.33 a.m.
we   (Doom,Toxic   and  Hedgehog  of
DESIGN   +   two  independent  guys)
started  our  trip  to  the CeBIT by
entering   a  train  of  the  German
BundesBahn.   After about 2 hours of
lameness   we  left  the  train  and
entered the first CeBIT hall.  There
we had to pay 13 DM entrance fee and
then finally we were allowed to take
part in the biggest Computer-Expo in
the  whole world !  After about half
an  hour  of  searching we found the
Commodore  Stand, where already some
scene-guys were present.  We had the
first  chats  and  searched for some
other    DSN-Guys.     After    some
searching (again !) we found D-Sign,
Cedrix,  Link,  Renegade,  Orbit and
Agressor.   While we were chatting a
little  bit  other guys were already
spraying  and  painting at the wall.

More  and  more scene-people arrived
and the whole thing got overcrowded,
but nevertheless it was cool to meet
(almost)  all  my contacts !  So the
Cebit went on and on ....

The wall got more painted, more guys
arrived     and     Commodore    was
photographing everything !
Yes,indeed  !!   Commodore  tried to
get   the  Cebit  under  control  by
saying  bullshit  like  :   "If  you
don't   stop  this  shit,  Commodore
won't  come  to  the CeBIT next year
!!" But nobody gave any attention to
this words !  Funky/AF, me,Toxic and
some   other   guys  organized  some
gas-balloons to put some animal-eyes
under   it.    We  let  it  fly  and
everybody  was  laughing,  coz  they
landed     directly     over     the
Commodore-people !!  Cool thing,eh ?
Also  the  NDR  (a german television
station)  was present and filmed sum
scenes,  but  i  don't  know if they
sended  anything  of this.  At about
18  o'clock everybody left the place
to  drive to the Cult-Party.  If you
drove  by  the  S-Train  it was very
easy  to  get there, but if you used
your  own  car  it was fucking hard,
coz  Cult  didn't  include the exact
way,  only  for  the  S-Train !  But
finally  we  arrived  at  the Paddy-
Place.    We  entered  it  and  were
fucking  shocked !!  Cult raised the
entrance fee from 5 DM to 10 DM !!!!
S  H  I T !  But we paid the fee and
got  shocked  again.   The place was
very  small and was split into about
7 single rooms !!  In the cellar was
a  bit  bigger room where Cult built
up  their  equipment.  After approx.
20    minutes   the   building   was
overcrowded.   About  25  amigas and
300  people  were there.  A guy from
Cult  said  that  there  were  about
600-700  guys, but he must have been
totally  drunken,  because  if there
had been so much people half of them
would  have  stayed  outside !!!  So
the    usual    party-things    like
boozing,playing,chatting   went  on.

At   23   o'clock  the  competitions
started.   Cult  organized them very
well,  coz  cverybody  could see and
hear   everything.    Here  are  the
results :

 3.Place : Jester of Sanity

I   have  to  say  that  mostly  the
releases   were   very   poor.   For
example  take  the Cyborx-Trackmo !!
Cult  didn't  show  everything,  but
what  I  had seen was enough !  Lame
Copperplasma,lame vectors,.....  Hey
Cyborx  !!!   I  don't want a war or
trouble, I only tell the truth !  At
about  2  o'clock in the morning the
Party ended, coz the Cult-guys threw
out  the  rest  of  the people, even
those  who  had  to  wait  for their
trains like us.  So we went together
with  some guys of Precise and Cytax
to  the  Mainrailstation.   There we
had  a nice chat with them and after
that  we  went to MC Donald's.  Here
we met YoYo/Hypnotic,who was waiting
for   his   girl-friend.    We   ate
something  and at about 4 o'clock we
went  back  to  the station to catch
our  train.  At 8 o'clock we were at
our  homes  again.  As final words I
have   to  say  that  the  CeBit  in
general  was  cool !!  But the party
was   due   to   the  sometimes  bad
organizing not a complete success !!
Anyway it was nice to chat and booze
with all my friends and contacts !!
