Let's invite you to an official
Commodore and big design party.
Planning to travel to Germany, (eau
de) Cologne this November and to visit
the one and only AMIGA-Show 1993,
World of Commodore; being interested
if there will be a party?
Keep the secret: There will be one.
From 5th-7th of November 1993, held
parallel to the Show, there will be a
party-like festival, organized in
cooperation with Commodore Germany
GmbH by Big Design.
Could you imagine which possibilities
these abilities will offer to all
invited guests?
U S U A L F A C I L I T I E S
- standard video-screen 1000×600
centimetres showing movies during
non-actions genlogged with party-
information
- Standard sound-equipment with
several thousand watts (let's learn
from other parties sound-abilities
and make it better)
- Standard-sized location with room
for 5000 people, their computers and
their sleeping-bags in silence and
darkness
- Standard 24 hrs food-supply
- Standard competitions including
demo, music, graphic (see below).
- Support bulletin board system
running from now until the end of
the festival providing the fastest
way to get the big party releases.
S P E C I A L F A C I L I T I E S
- Scene-quiz-show - who's got the best
knowledge about scene today ?
- Radar^contrast^productions live in
concert, introducing you to a
fantastic industrial-trance-techno
gig.
- Video-competition
- German TV-Stations will witness the
festival; if its good enough, the
competitors of the video-act will be
shown on MTV Europe
- Commodore VIP's like Dave Haynie,
Jim Sachs, Alwin Stumpf will be
present for your amusement.
C O M P E T I T I O N S
S T A N D A R D D E M O
- Must run on A500/A2000 with 1 MB
ChipRam or 1/2 MB ChipRam and 1/2 MB
FastRam and Kickstart 1.3 or higher.
- Public voted.
- If the demo needs user interaction,
the producers must be present while
the demo runs.
- Max. one demo per coder
- At least one person per group must
be present at the festival
- The demo may run up to 30 minutes
T U R B O D E M O
- Must run on A3000 with 2 MB ChipRam
and 2 MB FastRam.
- Jury voted.
- Must be Harddisk-loadable
- May take full use of a 68030 (with
MMU!) and a 68882.
A G A D E M O
- Must run on A1200 2 MB ChipRam and 1
MB FastRam
- Jury voted.
C 6 4 D E M O
- Must run on standard C64 with one
floppy drive (public voted).
M U S I C
- Music must be executable or 100%
ProTracker V3.10 compatible and be
harddisk-loadable after
preselection.
- Executables or protracker will be
public voted, shown on screen.
- Music may use up to 1 MB ChipRam.
- Music may run up to 4 minutes.
G R A P H I C
- Must be loadable into DPaint IV AGA
- Public voted)
- Minimum 5 steps of your drawing-work
who clearly represent your painting-
steps (won't be shown) must be
handed out.
- Scanned pictures are not allowed
V I D E O
- Use VHS or S-VHS
- Jury voted.
- Max. 15 minutes
- No special limitations
T O O L O F T H E Y E A R
- Who makes the most useful tool in
1993?
- Public voted.
- The tool must run on all Amiga's
with Kickstart 2.0 or higher and
100% conform to all Commodore
Programming and Style Guidelines
- Send in your demo until 1st. October
1993
- The organizers will compile one (or
more) disk(s) which will be
available from 5th October 1993
- At the party all guests may vote the
tool of the year
All demos, musics, etc. must be
unreleased and free of others
copyrights!
O T H E R S
- real Flipper competition (more fun
than feeling :)
- Dynablasters competition
- Surprise!
If you have any other productions like
A4000 Demos, Compact Disks, or
anything that will impress Commodore
bring it with you, it will be shown on
the big screen and honoured of course.
So just be creative!
P R I Z E S
- There will be a lot of prices,
unfortunately we can't tell you now
exactly; call the BBS for further
info.
- One price is for sure, the #1 in
standard Demo: A4000T, Display
enhancer, Monitor and if available,
the new MPEG-Card or the money the
whole stuff is worth in German marks
R U L E S
- No Graffiti! Everyone who will be
caught must pay for cleaning up and
will be thrown out; there will be a
HUGE graffiti-wall where you may do
your work of art
- No Alcohol! Alcohol is strictly
forbidden; if we find some it will
be confiscated
- Selling of hard - and software and
any kind of food is forbidden.
- Behave like civilized people;
troublemakers will be thrown out.
- There will be security-cameras all
over the place, so don't think we
won't get you.
- We will offer a reward of 50 DM for
everyone who will hand over or help
to get troublemakers.
As many many people are expected to
come (due to official announcement by
Commodore in several Amiga Magazines),
just save your place right now.
