RSI-AFL-SPECTRAL PARTY INTERVIEWS On the 21.04. in a village in Luxembourg the best party this year took place. The room in a hotel was very small and stuffed with more than 30 Amigas (mostly A500) and a few hundret freaks. Spectral was cheated by the owner of the hotel and lost a lot_of money. Beside the three organising groups which have been represented very numerous you could notice the following other remarkable groups: Abakus, Abyss, Ackerlight, Amiga Industries, Black Monks, Brainstorm, Cascade, Cult, Level 4, Mindkillers, Quadlite, Sinners (!!!), Spreadpoint, Tarkus Team, Tristar, Vision Factory. The magazine ZINE (Brainstorm- Switzerland) came with 4 persons who interviewed nearly everybody over the whole afternoon (See their issue for complete list), At last they got us too but not without answering our questions: CJ: Tell us about the begin of Brainstorm. BS: B was born on the Amiga one year ago. We newer wanted to swap or crack. We are a demo-group. We have 17 members, mainly coders. The big- gest success was the magazine ZINE. CJ: What about Swapping/Modem BS: We are searching for a modem swapper. But we aren’t swapping our- selfes. CJ: What do you think about selling? BS: Selling software is big shit. CJ: Is Switzerland a good country for a group. BS: For the scene it’s a good place. We have good groups like Alcatraz and Cetrox. And there are members from foreign groups like Trilogy... CJ: How did you come to the party? BS: By train. 75 DM return for each person. CJ: Do you often visit parties? BS: Not very often. Meanly parties close to us. CJ: Who is ZINE? BS: I (Majestic) and "The Accised" (coder) invented the ZINE in sunner 1989. The idea was, that there haye been many mags amoung only the CJ and EX 8 (+) were good. We thought we could make a new mag with the niveau of CJ but with a new design. CJ: Did you have an easy start? BS: We didn’t have big problems. The second issue was the hardest. We had to get the articles fast and we didn t have the routine already. We got lot of help from other groups. Now it runs on itself. CJ: Did you reach your goals? BS: Yes I think so. We are satis- fied. Now we haye 100 articles. CJ: What do you think about the scene? BS: I think originality is the nost important in the scene. The one who is original and a little good can become very famous. But the scene is stuffed with cheap trainer groups and ruled by elder coders. CJ: What do you think about other mags? BS: The scene is overflowed with bad Magazines. Every groups makes their own mag for one issue. CJ: Last Words? BS: Good luck for you. CJ: Good luck for you too. Thanks...
