Interview with Selim&Rudi/Skid Row

You  all know Selim & Rudi, they supply
the  most  of the originals of the Skid
Row cracks.
In  the  last time they were members of
three big cracker groups:  Quartex, The
Company and today they are in Skid Row.
Building on these  facts  we made  this
interview with them:

?: How  old are you and  what are  your
   real names?
!: We are both  21, and  our real names
   are Selim & Rudi. (Ed. ???)

?: Do you work or still go to school?
!: We work  7 days and 24 hours a  week
   to get the very latest in originals.
   Business is our work.....

?: How many computers do you own?
!: At this  time  only an  A3000 and an
   A500 and an PC Notebook 386.

?: Tell us your computer history!
!: Selim:

?: Please tell us  exactly how  Company
   was born?!
!: It was a time where the organization
   in  Quartex became  very bad and  we
   met on the CeBit  last year  our old
   friends  from Paranoimia so we spoke
   about a new group with a real organ-
   ization and only  some dudes in  it.
   Only the best, so after this meeting
   we thought about this new crew great
   eh... So "The Company" was born...

?: Why  did  you leave  The Company  to
   join Skid Row?
!: After our  summer holidays.  Subzero
   asked  us if  we want  to  join Skid
   Row, because he  was impressed  that
   some  old  friends work  nearly with
   the same perfection as he did  (that
   is one reason why we founded S.S.R.)
   The  exactly details we can't say!!!
   And it's funny to  hear that alot of
   German guys (immitations of us)  are
   checking out  every  shop  about new
   and fast originals...

?: You supply  many originals  for Skid
   Row, from where get you them?
!: We have a lot of  cool dudes sitting
   at   magazines   and   big  computer
   companies so all we three [S]ubzero,
   [S]elim, [R]udi  have  this connect-
   ions a lot of money about 2000 DM in
   the months you need  to keep up this
   connections.  So it's  hard  but all
   you need to be the No.1 on the world
   is money. (Ed.: Got this!?)

?: Do you  only supply  for Skid Row or
   also for other groups?
!: There are comming out a lot of  crap
   originals so it is not  worth to re-
   lease  them under  Skid Row.  So  we
   give this one's to very good friends
   in the scene.

?: What do you think - How many percent
   of  the  SR cracks are  supplied  by
   SSR? How many  by Subzero,  how many
   by you?
!: You can  think that we three are one
   guy and the most originals  we three
   get at the  same time... And  all in
   all nearly 75 percent of all SkidRow
   releases.

?: You  are known under the name "Selim
   &Rudi" - are you neightbours/friends
   or brothers?
!: We are  aliens! Hehehe -  no we  are
   neighbours.

?: Which was the best time? The time in
   Quartex/VF, Company or Skid Row?
!: Selim: I  had a lot  of  fun in  The
          Company  before because there
          was a  real good  friendship,
          but I don't  miss this now in
          Skid Row.
    Rudi: I think  the best time was in
          Vision Factory and now I have
          a very  nice time in Skid Row
          - cool dudes in it.

?: Which  group  of  them  is  the best
   organized group?
!: Selim: Skid Row 
   Rudi:  Skid Row, VF  (we've now some
          trouble about this question).

?: Are  you able to give  us a complete
   memberlist  including  country   and
   functions of Skid Row?
!: Ohhhh noooo...

?: What's  your normal day? How long do
   you sit before your board?
!: Selim - Is working till 18.00 pm and
           he start with the board work
           from 18.30 pm till......
    Rudi - Our  board is my wife I'm 24
           hours online, I have no job,

           no friends, no girl-friends,
           no drugs I live only for The
           Jam (hehe)...

?: Which country has the fastest modem-
   scene?
!: Tsss... Germany because Germany  has
   a lot of good  traders  who are  all
   blue boxing to the states (hehe).

?: Which are in your opinion the 3 best
   German groups?
!: There can be only one... The leading
   force...Skid Row...Other good groups
   are  sometimes  The Company,  Vision
   Factory...

?: Which program (tools & games) do you
   use the most (without AmiExpress!)?
!: Selim: Quarterbackup, DMS,  JR-Comm,
          BB, no games.
    Rudi: Quarterbackup, DMS,  JR-Comm,
          BB, Lotus I+II, Super Soccer,
          Unwarp, Diskmaster, CC

?: How  many crackers are in  Skid Row?
   Name them!
!: FFC (Full Force Cracking), Eurosoft,
   Black Hawk, Corsair, The Helion.

?: What's your opinion about the German
   scene compared with the Scandinavian
   scene?
!: Is this a joke or what?!

?: How many hours do you daily trade?
!: We  trade  almost on the 3rd private
   node,  we check  each hour  all  the
   best boards around the world.

?: Is trading  fun for you or do you it
   to reach a high position in  the up-
   loader charts?
!: It  is important to keep  up a board
   like The Jam as the best BBS in Ger-
   many.

?: Is  friendship  in  the  Amiga scene
   important for you, or just a  possi-
   bility to make money?
!: We  like  friendship. (Hi Tom, Marco
   Polo, Fred, Rakim, Cenobytes,  Moses
   usw....)
   Dagobert Duck is our grandpa!  Hehe,
   no, no... Friendship rules...

?: Which are  in your  opinion the best
   German and US boards?
!: Loooooook in the BBS charts.

?: If your  mother would take away your
   computers for  one year - could  you
   imagine to live without them?
!: We have solved this problem, we have
   killed our mothers.

?: There  is some  trouble between TRSI
   (Irata) and Skid Row, what's up?
!: It is  (or was) only a  war  between
   Subzero and Irata 

?: We noticed that you only  greet Sky-
   line in your  cracks. Why not  whole
   Quartex?
!: Skyline is the only elite in Qtx the
   rest  is  a  shame  for   the   name
   Quartex.

?: We'll give you now some words.Please

   CJ: A good mag! ( In AFL  times, but
   Venture???)
   School:  Never  finished  this  shit
   business came over us!

?: Did you visit the Amiga in Cologne?
!: Of course!

?: Did you like it?  What did  you dis-
   like?
!: It was a big show this year.

?: What  is  your  opinion  about   the
   Eurocharts  and World  charts? Which
   one of these  is the more  objective
   one?
!: World charts is the best one.

?: One week ago  Skid Row released  its
   first demo, do you  plan  to release
   demos more often now?
!: Yes maybe soon, but first  some cool
   Magic Drummer intros are coming...

?: Who is the  leader of  Skid Row?  Is
   there  a  leader for all  countries,
   how is SR organized?
!: Maybe  some others  can learn  some-
   thing... Sorry no comment...

?: If somebody wants to join  Skid Row,

   who should he ask?
!: Group intern....
   Metallica, SSR  or FFC (for Europe),
   but we are complete in the moment...
   And to all others out  there, please
   ask only if  you have alot of money!
   hehe

?: Is it  true that  after  Paranoimias
   dead some old members founded SR?
   Are today still some old  Paranoimia
   members in the group?
!: Yes and now 2 from VF!  (Subzero and
   Rudi...)

?: If  Skid Row  releases a crack, will
   it be  uploaded   by  the  Skid  Row
   spreaders on all SR boards first?
!: Hmmm... Thats one  thing which  does
   not work perfect at the moment, it's
   not  possible by our  masses  of re-
   leases!!! Remember - There are still
   some others which  are cracking  and
   so we have  first to u/l all  cracks
   in the states.

?: How  is  your  relationship  to  The
   Company after leaving them?
!: We have  a lot of  good  friends  in
   there! Hi Ranndy Ran, Phil, Ralf.

?: Forget that  you are a SR member for
   some seconds - what are  your  pers-
   onal cracker charts?
!: Skid Row,    Crystal,   The Company,
   Fairlight, VF.

?: How  many  percent  of the  uploaded
   stuff on your board do you unwarp to
   watch it?
!: Nothing only the Skid Row releases.

?: Why  do you  never mention FFC's BBS
   "Ceasar's Palace" in your intros?
!: He don't  want any new user's on his
   board.

?: If you're 50 years old do  you think
   that  you'll  regret  that you  have
   spent  a lot of  money  and  time in
   computers?
!: Everbody has a hobby and we have the
   computer.

?: Which social grouping(rapper, punks,
   skins, popper, heavy,  etc.) do  you
   belong to or like the most?
!: Rapper

?: Where  are   Selim  & Rudi  Saturday
   nights?
!: In the  disco - or  above our  girl-
   friends - the  money  makes  it pos-
   sible - spend some money and send it
