European Computer Conference (ECC'93)

The Party was held in AÖrebro / Sweden I b
remember when we sat on the bus and many 
in the bus was ready for party sitting with 
monitors and Amiga 500 when I and Crion a 
friend of mine where at the Entrance it 
cost about 140 SEK (13 Euro).

Crion said that he was very peckish to se 
Dual Crew Shining demo that was going to be 
a AGA multitasking demo. 
 
This was my first computer party and I was 
very exited all the time! (15 years old)

I talked some with Phenomena who had 
smuggled in some Beer and Vodka and they 
where very friendly and asked me if I 
wanted some.

The music compo was nice some songs was 
really funny In the end when Excellate 
played everybody was like wow!

And later on a TV 21 showed up and was 
interviewing a lot of people and one of 
them was Probe who wan the music compo.

The organizers was nice they let me take 
pictures of them when they were checking 
the contributions.

The prizes to be won in the demo competi-
tion differed a lot from what was promised
in the invitation; the prize for the winner 
was promised to be 15,000 SEK (1,400 Euro),
but in the end it became 2,000 SEK and an
A1200.

And I also remember that Rage demo 
'Neural Assault' was cool seeing Dart Vader 
going to the toilet wonderful!    Everybody 
were laughing out load when that showed up.
I will also remember that the demo 'G'  by 
Noise was cool too. 

Many groups had there group sign up to show 
themself. Limited Edition was one of them 
and I had a friend among them who was a 
musican he can be seen on overview picture
(the 3rd from the left).

I found some new friends on the Party as 
seen on the other picture (check bonus!) 
is Pero and was a musician.

About 300 visitors showed up on ECC 93.

There where also a thief on the party 
trying to steel an Amiga 1200 and the 
Police showed up rumour who quickly came 
out was that it was a member from the 
group Genetic who got caught.

I also took some heavy pictures with my 
camera but my Camera was old so I had to 
turn back the hole film back by hand and 
it was A little bit sad when,  I was 
totally sure that I had taken the film 
back that is what not and 3 Pictures 
survived of 36...
But seeing it from the bright side 
3 pictures are better than nothing.

And I also got some new friends that 
I am still in contact with.
